  • @44denisse44

It is PBS dude...they're notorious for their low budgets.

  • so we are keeping a futuristic robotic crook in a typical jail. No wonder they kept showing up every week!!!!

  • Tell me Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego!

  • WOW! A portable CD PLAYER!!!

  • how old is this since it was czechoslovakia and not czech republic and slovakia? lol

  • @carmeltits Czechoslovakia split in 1993; this was from 1991 if I'm not mistaken.

  • Robocrook in jail.

    Carmen still free.

    Illogical. Does not compute.

  • Do IT ROCKAPELLA!

  • "Robocrook! ...In jail..."

    with better ratings than Degrassi.

  • Off we go! Into the wild blue yonder!

  • "This is Lynne Thigpen speaking for 'Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?' And remember, we're on the case like fleas on Lassie, but with better ratings than DeGrassi." - HA! Classic.

  • I miss the 90's.

  • Who doesn't?

the 90s are the golden ages.

  • $10 headsets! Be all that you can beeeee!

    Oh, Rockapella.

    I miss this show :(

  • Ah, the Europe map! My favorite...

  • at 2:36 he just like "now, do you just want to pull on this" if i had nickel every time i said that.

  • WOW, this kid just pulled it off! Halfway through it didnt look like he was going to make it. Great job by him to comeback and win!

  • 8:33 - "All geographic information was accurate as of the date this program was recorded."

    Exhibiy A: Czechoslovakia (4:30)

  • This was recorded on May 7, 1992. Less than 8 months before Czechoslovakia split on January 1, 1993.

  • uhm ok

  • Sing it, boys!

  • Rockapella LOL

  • Greg: WHOA! WHOA! Oh my goodness!

    Rockapella: YOU WON! (sings fanfare)

Greg: Wait a sec-- WAIT! WAIT! Go back, and....some of this.

  • Not funny enough, except for the FIRST part, when Greg goes crazy after Robo-Crook is finally found.

  • Wow, it doesn't get much closer then that.. like a quarter second left. Awesome!

  • Wow

You don't see "czechloslovakia" on the map anymore.

  • 6:03, Viva La Mehico!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I was so surprised to see the way the singing group was positioned at the end song. The set up with the lead singer and the bass at the ends of the group really showed how tall they were when compared with the other two members. The bass player's build reminds me of a boxer or a bear (no offense intended).

  • Mexico's not in the continental US! It's sad how small the time limit is on the map though. He made a perfect run and still made it with less than a second remaining.

  • The time limit's fine. The number of locations you need to get Carmen Sandiego, it was better under the rule of 7, since the 8 rule cost countless Gumshoes the trip!

  • go spider

    ten dollor head sets

'of we go into the wild blue younder'

'bleaven in the yonder'(dont know what they said)

meat all you can eat meat

    all by rockapella

  • this is gay

  • carmen sandiego in jail... LOL that is funny!

  • "Better ratings than Degrassi"? Well, Chief, the show's syndicated now.

  • Be...all that you can be! HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Rockapella just has the most interesting things to say at anytime no matter how critical of a junture it is. Ricky seemed excitied as he knew just what to do here... a little to well by Greg's standerds. Had he missed the trip in the map it would not have been a good show. He did a good job in addition to everyone else in this episode. It had some unexpected moments as well as great gameplay. There were a couple of kinks but they got better as we went along. 4.5 stars is what this gets.

  • "Leaving on a Jet Plane" For some reason when I hear that song I think of the movie Armageddon (and that movie wasn't even out then)

  • Is there anyway on Earth that Rockapella CAN'T make me and Greg laugh? I don't think so!

  • Confetti missed Rickey, Greg had to push him LMAO

  • "ten dollor head" set lol

  • Strasse in German is "street"

My kennis in Afrikaans street is straat

  • I wish PBS would make a remake of the show (of course someone else would have to play the chief though Lynne Thigpen is worm food)

  • How about Greg Lee?

  • hahahahaha actually I'm already planning that for my fan fiction (I'm doing fan fiction that's based on both the computer games with the good guides and the game show I'd post the site address but then I'll get reemed for spamming

  • one moment where I should have kept my mouth shut but I have realized that if they remake it it will never be as good as the original

  • Comment removed

  • well you know how they say that sequels aren't as good as the original (hence where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?) also the technology would have to be updated if you know what I'm saying. Plus if they do remake it they should get some really good singers (or bring in the current line-up of Rockapella but that's about as likely as them making a stop in Canada which is not likely)

  • Comment removed

  • my point is would they do it?. But the previous recording really would be a budget saver I mean let's face it technically Rockapella WAS the music budget

  • Yeah, but who would be the Chief? Lynne Thigpen couldn't possibly be topped.

  • Comment removed

  • How about Nancy Grace?

  • Plus she did pass away so she can't be in it.

  • Why'd someone downrate your comment?

  • I guess no one likes my idea of Nancy Grace being the next chief. I'm not very fond of that idea either it was just a suggestion.

  • No, I meant this comment:

"I wish PBS would make a remake of the show (of course someone else would have to play the chief though Lynne Thigpen is worm food)". Why was THAT downrated?

  • Oh that one probably because I said Lynne Thigpen is worm food (I should probably say it in a different way)

  • uh nevermind about the cheese factory part

  • Ok seriously didn't they listen to the chief at all I mean hello cheese factory?

  • "Carmen Sandiego's in jail" ROTFLMFAO!

  • BTW: Not included in the original broadcast, but when i freeze the video on the newspaper, you'll hear "Carmen Sandiego. Zin Jail!". This is to honor my 100th YouTube video uploaded earlier.

  • Well there's something you don't see everyday!

  • That's really cool man

  • But im afaid you have to caputed her again

this time in "were in time is carmen sanideago"

  • Stop going off-subject!

  • Comment removed

  • "Be all that you can be" an Army Reserve slogan LOL

  • "Off we go into the wild blue yonder!" LOLOLOL I love the musical lines
