i think iggy pop might have been confusing neu for can...........neu, and somebody tell me i'm wrong, always seemed second tier (at best) as far as krautrock goes.

@godsaway0 second tire meaning that, in the cosmic scheme of things, they don't seem all that special..........can and amon duul2 not only had more of a connection to rock, but can be redisovered on several levels, something bands like faust/cluster/popol/neu/dream/­kraft didn't seem capable of.......of course what i'm saying could be defined within' general (and relatively recent) music history and many of these artists may have been far more pioneering than i'm giving them credit for..
