  • I actually luv it <3 :)

  • you look pretty!

  • I just saw another video on gradient nails, instead of the brush they used a triangular shaped make up sponge to get the gradient effect

  • cute design tho, but you're kinda sloppy :/

  • so pretty. I love the plum/purple color. i will definitely try this. thanks!

  • i tried this technique and it looks great! it came out so much better than when i tried using the foundation sponge. its so much easier(:

  • @Minaaamii same for me ..... i dint try this way ... but i am sure it is easier ... and will come out more good than the foundation sponge ..... and that tooo using one colour ...

  • Olá... sou do Brasil e adorei seu vídeo! Você é muito linda! Parabéns!!!

  • its so beautiful

  • Pretty!

  • they didn't really blend very well...but it's ok

  • Can You Say Bubzy Stolen -__- Wow What A Biter

  • @sweetietweetie15 lol. im pretty sure bubz beauty didnt create the gradient trend lol.

  • @sweetietweetie15 As much as I love Bubbi she didn't start the whole gradient thing. She did a tutorial on it sure, but so did Michelle Phan and a whole bunch of other people. The whole gradient thing isn't new this season or year and has been out for a LONG time. Its kind of like leggings making a come back, well so are gradient nails.

  • Gorgeous!!! Thank you!! Doing this today. :)

  • so cute!

  • gorgeous da-ling!

  • Tried this with blue nailpolish, everyone liked it!

  • They look so pretty and my friends name is Zoya lol

  • @serenalikesrice Phahahah....it means your a slag dumb arse.

  • @serenalikesrice EWWWWWWWWW SHLAG!

  • shes soo pretty

  • omg thank you!this really helps!

  • i'm wondering if it would blend nicer if you did the coats while it was still wet so you don't get chunky stripes?

i can't get over how much you look like sulli <3

  • I love the colors your chose. Please check out my tutorial as well, thanks.

  • U have to put a lite base to really show that gradient right

  • You are absolutely gorgeous

  • whered u get those nail polishes?

  • If the layers seem very defined, you can use the glitter coat brush to blend in the colors but I do recommend to use from then on another glitter for a different tone of gradient styles, cause it will stain the rest of the glitter polish

  • I used to do this with a sponge and it was soooo messy, yet the final result wasn't as good as this thankss

  • that is wicked :)

  • wow so easy! thank you!

  • @serenalikesrice Phahahaha:P

  • What do you do after you paint your nails, to prevent form messing it up? : o

  • Amazing and simple yay! thankyou Jen :)

  • Your vid is great...I'm glad your glitter doesn't overtake the actual design of the polish

  • Ughs!

  • wonderful idea

  • you sound like my friend Camerons sister...and you look like her, and you have the same name.

  • love this! :)

  • love her rings!

  • I love this look! I've been using different color schemes this month! I liked purple and yellow the best XD

  • those are really cute!!

  • how many different purples do u use?

  • what do you do to keep your cuticles looking so neat? mine are so messy and there is always skin peeling around them and i get tons of hang nails. not so flattering.

  • @earth43toph i get that too sometimes, but lately i've been using lotion like twice a day and it's helped me....

  • @XOXOjellybeanOXOX what kind of lotion? i never liked the feeling of having lotion on my finger tips. made me feel more greasy. and you can't grab onto anything! (thats probably just me over reacting or soemthing...)

  • @earth43toph i used to feel the same way, i would wash it off my hands after putting it on by arms. but i use oatmeal lotion...i got it from Avon, but im sure they sell it at walmart or something. i like it because it didnt give me that greasy feeling.

  • @earth43toph i use oatmeal lotion. i dont really like teh feeling either, but i just really fell inlove with the oatmeal lotion i have been using..

  • So pretty! When are you doing mine?? :D

  • Love the purple colors they're sooo beautiful! thanks for the tutorial, I have to try that someday.

  • I tried it w the OPI Burlesque and I love it. So easy. Thanks, Jen.

  • This looks time consuming.

If, for me, nail polish didn't peel like the next day and if I didn't need to remove the polish every time I work, I would def try it because its sooooo pretty!

  • cool video, and you're gorgeous!!

  • i have been waiting to buy purple nail polish ever since i saw this and now i finally did !! the results are soo pretty <33 .. i love nail art / sparkles lol . thank jen ~

  • Aww I never had much love for glitter nail polish cos they're hard to remove. But u made me love them again~

  • youre an amaaazing beauty guru, you know that?!

i willDEFINITELY be doing this sometime soon! THANK YOU.

  • if i'd do that my nails would get screwed up even when drying my hands with a towel after i wash my hands.

  • this is so cute! Im going to try this with a regular, glossy nail polish and add the glitter top coat

thanks so much for the idea!!!

  • That's going to take ages to dry.... :P

  • wow thats so pretty! :)

  • Thanks for this tutorial Jen. You're a natural beauty *^^*

  • Nice tutorial :)

Oh and you are so pretty! :)

  • hi what lashes are u wearing? thanks

  • i saw misschevious use a sponge to blend the edges of the gradient so it fades better into the colour above...i tryed it...needs prectice but looks better and more like a gradient of colour then a visible line like you have

  • too many layers of polish

  • this is soooo pretty <3 i think i'm gonna try this with blue :)

  • dang talented. I suck at nail =.=

  • My goodness. Gorgeous!!!

  • and you are super gorgeous!

  • love the nails! and i like that big pretty rock you have on your left ring finger lol

  • Thank you so much for this! I did this for my homecoming nails and everyone was asking me where i got my nails done!

  • thats really pretty! ima try it one day! :D

  • this is so pretty jen! :D so sad i can never put on nail polish cause of school :(

  • ur soo good at nail polish!! did u go to beauty school

  • this was so simple to do.. and looks really pretty! thanks!

  • i love you jen!! pls make more videos!! :D

  • I found that the gradient looks more natural if you start with a dark opaque color at the tip and slowly build lighter sheer colours on top and further down the nail. There's no obvious layers where you can see where you've added on the next darker layer, etc.

  • @acataleptic its also works better if you use a sponge and stipple on the color starting from light to dark. it gives a more even gradient affect than just brushing it on. might do a video on the process later on bt ive seen it done before and it looks sooo much prettier.

  • @acataleptic tutorial!! haha.

  • @acataleptic i was thinkig about that too LOL

  • i hope ur husband know show lucky he is =D

  • really pretty,

to work you should wait for the layers to be dry and aply thin coats. you can also use a drying medium :)

  • wow this was so helpful! when i first clicked on this video i was like 'i'll never be able to do that, but im gonna watch it anyways' haha, but you make it look so simple to do

  • I love this but I have to wait for my nails to grow

  • That's really pretty :) I would try it but I have short nails and I'm not allowed nail polish for school :/

  • how long did it take to finish it? if it takes to long ... some how I always smudge it... :-(

  • wuuuu Jen, I love this tutorial!:D

  • jeeeen i love your videos! you're such a doll! can i ask what blush/ls you have on this video? i love how you always looks so natural and polished! <3 gaahhh!

  • BOOM BOOM POW'S have been linked to chronic indigestion. Wikipedia says so.

  • i LOVE the zoya roxy one

  • "From Head To Toe" love the sound of that

  • luvvv it.

  • Wow--so cute!!

  • Looks really nice

  • WOW this is soo pretty..wow though that would take HOURS to dry...

  • WOW this is soo pretty..wow

  • awesome nail tutorial! i see how you matched the face shop purple (PP406?!?) w/ the zoya roxy. How did you know that the cg disco dazzle glitter would match? all colors match perfectly!^_^!

  • great look ^^! I'm definitely going to try this out :) and if you're wearing a lipstick in the video which one is it :O?! It looks super cute!

  • reallly cool :)

    but im so impatient=0=

  • what lip colour are you wearing? :)

  • youre so pretty!

  • super cute looove it(;

  • nicee. always wanted to know how to do this effect! thanks!

  • i love it!

  • i used to love that disco dazzle, it ws so impossible to take off

  • wow i'm super not patient to wait for them to dry. That was too much layer, i think i will mess them up before they all dry.

  • ooh!! preddy~ i would do it w/ a sponge tho.. :)

  • oh, that's pretty!

jen, for a smoother gradient you should also try doing it with a sponge. you paint the sponge from light to dark and then you dab it on your fingers, then another layer. it's super quick and pretty :) - love your videos!

  • soooo purddy :) cant wait to try it out..thanks for the vid girly :)

  • im going to try this in pink bc i have more shade options! soooo pretty

  • Wow, this looks gorgeous ! Very pretty & easy to do . (Y)
