I can't believe it! Is this really true? What a bizarre treatment that seems to bring about a total cure! I can't believe it.

These doctors need to patent this as a medical device. They would get royalties from everyone who uses their technique.

Also, I would suggest you pair up with one of the top neurologists who studies Tourettes and write a paper. And do some studies and get some data.

Man, im sorry for you. I feel bad for ya, never let the tics keep you down. my friend, he also has tourettes, but more of the twitchy type, he would moan and twitch at the same time, but he's cool to talk to. another kid in the younger class(srry for me being off topic) is only ten and has seizures. My school went to a basketball gym, and the poor kid was having a seizure while standing, i had to hold him up so he couldn't fall backwards. I was sad.

you can't develop tourette's from a drug, it's a genetic condition! if you have it and it just hasn't shown up yet, a drug could proabably bring it out.

I have had this since I was five. Twirling my hair, jerking my head sideways, clicking my tingue and jerking to the right-ALL continuous until it's right, till it feels right. Mine arent involuntary, I do them until it's right. GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Tardive Dyskinesia can result from medications

and cause tics that are not Tourettes in both people who have Tourettes and people who do not. It can be caused by some medicines for Tourettes and sometimes become permanent. You do not feel premonitory urges with tardive dyskinesia. Double check any info. I said because I am not a Doctor I just have Tourettes. It wasn't tourette's, but that makes sense. ADD medicine (Ritalin, Aderal, etc.) is amphetamine, which is pretty much legal "speed." It could very easily causes "ticks."

I stopped taking my medication after I developed a tic. I'm not sure if the medication actually caused my tic, but I developed a tic three weeks after I started taking the medication. At first my chest started hurting and I could barely breathe (only on days when I would take the medication). Now my condition has worsened.

Have you heard of Neurofeedback? Nasa has a machine that can be used with a playstation. I don't know if it cures it but it does help. I have been researching this for a long time. Don't give up!
