It would have won the Eurovision contest 1973 easily, if the voting in Sweden had been by the Swedish people. Unfortunately the voting by that time was made by "experts", who were politically correct, meaning favouring lyrics and music that noone really liked.... Luckily they won in 1974 with Waterloo. Personally I like Ring Ring better.

Certainly not!!!! But this was in those leftish days when a song should be depressive and "artistic", meaning without melody and lyrics... This song would have won the whole European contest easily, if the Swedish people had had the vote instead of politically influenced figures, but ABBA moved on and won next year with Waterloo.

@gullhake - i won't argue beauty cause is not what ABBA is about. but to answer your comment it's clear in this video that's Frida had a more sophisticated face and if you look at the pre-ABBA pics while Agnetha is really pretty and cute Frida is a beauty and for a time even a model. Agnetha presented herself better while Frida sported the crazy hairdo's and tanning but at the core IMO Frida was prettier. :))
