TRWolf, I understand that you are British yourself and are a huge fan of G&S. However, you fail to realize that we are American High School students. We weren't attempting English accents, we were doing them. We Americans also notice a lack of a perfect accent when you Brits speak "American." We didn't have that much rehearsal time with the orchestra, and I personally found it diffficult to see and hear them due to the huge hat over my head. We also didn't have enough guys...

Pray observe the magnanimity was too slow! Nice that you had attempts at the correct accents too! Was Samuel played by a girl? That didnt work too well. You werent that great a General Stanley Im afraid, I guess you needed to say it clearer, and IN TIME with the orchestra, and in ENGLISH, not American, and you looked like you needed to do something with your hands as you didnt have a parasol or a walking stick etc. Did I see a girl in black pants and t-shirt there too?
