In pharmacy you can find a plant, the valeriana. humans use it for sleep. cats are excited and very well when they smell this plant. but this plant is the nightmare for herborists because the odour is very special. when i make some caps of valeriana we open the window and two cats ofen visit us!!!! (i 'm pharmacist).
The mother cat seems to be a stock fixture of Fleischer cartoons--she's been seen as a ghost in "Minnie the Moocher" (complete with ghost kitens) and as Olive's cat in "The House Builder-Upper", as well as other shorts.

I thought this B.B. cartoon was titled: "Hap-Happy you Happy Me" Or "Happy You Happy Me". :) This is 1 of my many favorite Betty Boop cartoons.
