@clayto1332 My favorite band is the Beatles. I love Led Zeppelin, Cream, Hendrix, the Who, etc. I also love Alternative, and I love this song. Everyone likes certain types of music. It's just who we are. Some people like rap, some like reggae, some like classical. Music taste is like taste in food; it changes from person to person. Some people learn to appreciate ALL genres of music. I suggest you do the same. As a music fan, you should understand the value in ALL music, even Alternative.
@MontezumaIII Sure I understand the value of all music, I guess I am just disappointed in the direction that rock music is going. It is like I don't even like it anymore. On top of that, I don't listen to rap or country or any other genre than classical on occasions.
I hate this freaking indie-emo thing that is taking over rock radio (like this crap). Is this the music that we have to look forward to for this whole decade? Last decade was bad enough IMO. I just keep telling myself for every decade of good music, there is a decade of bad but it is looking like all we have to look forward to is barely audible guitars, emo haircuts, and girls jeans on guys.
