They made the game on computer first, with the graphics as great as they could possibly ever make them, THEN after that, they ported it to consoles and dumbed down the graphics.

So they completed the computer game as well as they could have, the console has nothing to do with the pc graphics, all the did was make the console version look worse so stop complaining about it!

Well just finished playing , lol so busy trying to take in the eye candy if you will i got dropped about a zillion times lol.Easiest shot in the world standing there gawking at the scenery .I am a single player hands down so multi player for me is not my personal deal.Over all i like it but being one of the lucky ones to have and run both Crysis and Warhead with the Ultra high mods i am hoping Crytek gives us a lot more eye candy for the full PC version.I hope it brings my 4870 x2 to its knees.

@shadlad91 Ya, same here :P. The first two games I played I was just staring at everything xD. I don't know how good the 4870 x2 is, but with my GTX 470 with hardcore settings and 1680x1050 resolution, I got like 40-60 fps. I don't think it ever got below 35ish though.

You know, I don't claim to know anything about hardware, but I would think that just because the technical requirements are higher, that doesn't necessarily make the graphics better. Regardless, I'll just be happy if Crysis 2 comes without any major memory leaks like the last game. For Crysis 1, I can only play the game for about half an hour with maxed out settings before it turns into a stuttering slideshow. Then again, maybe that's due to overheating and not a memory leak...
