@MusicAndLove217 isn't my bird its at a rescue owner must of named him Ester thinking it was a female they should of called him Lester instead only if they have known.
Too cute, when my too grabs a hold of something, I always have to give her a walnut. She loves them and plus it occupies her for about 10 minutes trying to crack it open.
Yeah, I can vouch for that! My parents got a Moluccan Cockatoo for company... one of the sweetest, most loving birds you could ever hope to meet.
Loud? You would not beLIEVE how loud they can get. Truly. Until you hear one go off, you just cannot understand...
The bird dander finally got to my mom... she ignored the symptoms of the allergy... until her body filled with fluids and she had congestive Heart Failure! She's fine now... and Reggie has a new home.
If it's a boy, why did you name it Esther? Jw... XD

Hahaha, I know its just a bunch of cockatoo's but it sounds like your recording where a bunch of people are being horribly tortured.
And does anyone know if its the same irritant as found in cockatiel feathers?

Yeah I have a mealy amazon and he is quite loud, but i'm sure a cockatoo and macaw can outdo him any day :)
runforasthma 4 years ago
yes they are loud and with out the proper care they can have feather plucking problems
also the fine dust on the feathers irritates lots of allergies they aren't the best birds for most people.
