I'm not surprised that this company went bankrupt with the way the economy took a turn for the worse. Mind you, who in their right mind would spend close to $100,000 for a pickup and a camper, or a jeep wrangler when there are thousands of used RV's out there gathering dust.
The "overland" or "adventure travel" fad is over.
The cost of housing has tanked so bad that these vehicles cost more than some houses in Michigan.
I know. However if AEV has managed to get a hold of J8s, then it should not be a very big problem getting J8 chassis to work out from. And like AEV they could either finish the car with a different engine or offer it as a kit with the diesel. Too bad they went bankrupt though I really like the concept of such a relatively compact overland vehicle, and with the diesel and the J8 chassis they would greatly extend its range and durability.
Might as well go to the site to see pictures. Was hoping for a video since this is Youtube.

The J8 is not available in the United States, jallaballa229.
Except thru a special order from AEV-conversions, and then it is without a motor or trans!
