  • " I could'n even play thiz good in my late teens, magnificent performanz Annie. "

  • @InLoveWithBubz

Don't worry about 'winning' when it comes to talent.... everyone can be 'beaten' at some point.... just enjoy your talent and others talents and their positive passion too.

  • I'm 14 and you nailed this better than me ._.

  • She would be Asian.

  • Such fluency and great sense of style. Bravo, Annie, and thanks for posting and sharing, Janet. CHEERS from the Philippines :)

  • Congratulations. You are a big star.

  • looks like she is standing up

  • orgasmn.

  • Great Bach spirit...Extraordinary at this young age.

  • Dear Janet and Annie!!! We are happy to be your friends and fans!!! Thank you for wonderful, divine performance and for your talent!!! God bless you and your creativity!!! Your friends and fans Olga & Vladimir Krylov.

  • Very very good! Congratulations!

  • Im just starting to play this piece for my Grade 6 piano exam. Any tips on how to practice and speed it up?? It's actually not that hard!

  • WELL DONE! AWESOME! You can make a living with those fingers! Some parts need to be soft rather than loud and make the ending slight slower but anway, NICE!

  • Whenever you think you're good at something, a younger Asian child is better at it than you are.

  • very nice performance!

  • !! love it!!!! Isis ♪♫

  • Well played energetic but not quite in sync.

The interpretation is too fast for the A-minor.

Above all, Bach is not slow in pace.

  • very good! congratulations!! keep practicing...

  • I'm re-learning this invention right now so I've been listening to lots of recordings and videos of it, and I have to say, this version is my favourite!!!

  • Great Job Annie ! Wonderful, very musical. I am going to safe it in my Favorites to show to my students. You are will be our roll model :)

    Elza Ritter

  • very good play!

  • Wonderful articulation and dynamics. I love it!

  • @cuore2000 No, I think she is wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better... =)

  • wonderful..and I totally agree, your version is absolute wonderful. I have searched this invention from all over the net spotify and everywhere, still this is best perfomance for my ears.... You prounounce the true beauty in this piece...

  • This was SOOOOO GOOOD, I had to favorite it!

Best one on YT by farrrrrrrrr!!!

  • I hate watching these videos. she haw ay more to show at her age than I do for my entire life so far....

  • Normally people don't put this much emotion into this song. Bravo!

  • Prodigy!!!

  • OMG that was awesome..

You have to teach me now.. : )

I happen to be a fan of Bach's invention no. 13 and this was well played..

What's really shocking is this very talented girl is only 8??

Incredible!! Keep up the great work. . )

  • Nice :)

  • great job. it was very.... fast. XD

  • I'm 16 and can't even play this piece. Annie I am really amazed over your talent

  • This is so beautiful. It's hard to play Bach with emotion, and you did it, Annie.

  • I'm blown away

played perfectly and with so much expression

this is by far the BEST one I've heard. well done

  • Erstaunlich!

  • I really like how much emotion you put into this piece! Great job!

  • Good job!

  • This is really really really good.

  • Very good Annie =D!

  • Best on YouTube forever!!!

And for the 10 guys who voted this video down: don't vote unless you UNDERSTAND Annie's interpretation!!!

There must be some dumb "child critics" here!

  • Best Bach ever!

  • This is so amazing, not only do you play it perfectly, you also show emotion which is one of the most important assets to music.

    Well done!

  • In Europa, 8th years old child are burning cars, throwing stones on firemens, fighting the police and dealing drugs.

I'm happy to see that a rare 8th years old child can also play very well European music... This is so rare in our modern world...

  • fantastic performance !a big bravo !

  • don't feel bad antidrugofmusic n eveAintCool, I am 30 and kinda STUCK on Invention no. 8 :) --- this is a real good piece , I 'll learn this first time tomorrow!!!!

  • I agree: Bach would be proud of you. Great job.

  • increible

  • bravo! i play that just like you! wonderful interpretation!

  • you are a good musician!

  • wow she is amazing! that piece is very hard im learning it right now :)

  • *wipes tear from eye* Bach would be proud.

  • im playing this song right now, and i find it hard to play as smoothly as she does.

  • I never took lessons as a young child; I was very casual about the piano. I didn't get very serious untill I was about 13 (I'm 16 now) but I wonder if I had been able to play like this when I was her age. I don't mean to be arrogant but I think i have a natural born gift for the piano so its videos like this that make me sad I started so late.

  • I feel totally the same as you do. I never took it seriously till I was 18. And I'm 19 now. So sad, eh? It should cheer you up though cuz I'm 3 years older than you;P Anyway, it's never too late to carry on. Now I just want to get the joy out of it.

  • bravo

  • Very well! Bravo, Annie!

  • I know how hard this song is=S

    im playing it right now=S

  • @da3musceteers same here im playing it too and i find it hard...

  • Why is she moving herself like that??? Looks strange...

  • she has to feel what she plays, so she lets her body move the way she feels the music

  • this is unbeliveable... a realy realy fine tone.

  • Annie, God has blessed you with a rare and wonderfull gift. Great job!!

  • Annie! Im sooooooo impressed of you, sweetie=) Im 13 and i can just play the beginning of this lovely song...=S Thank you and promise to keep playing=D

    Im a big fan=)

  • Bravo,Annie!!!<3=D

Right now, im practise at this lovely song and im 13. Bravo, Bravo!!!

  • Hi Annie!=) Wow! Im verry impressed! Good work!! m thirteen and i could just play invention nr 1xD Verry gooood!!!!!

  • WOWOWOWOW

    she is HALF my age!

i . actually feel quite embarrassed now =(

    she is AMAZING!

  • great job, very nicely played. im 14 and i cant even play it yet..

  • wow! and only 8 years old..... :)

  • Incredible job for an 8 yr old girl. Congratulations!

I wish you win CMC one of these years.

  • great job! sound is good...

  • i might sound overly critical but you always are playing the right hand as the more important part where the sixteen notes are the most important in stead of just the right hand but good playing

  • I don't think we're precieving a realistical tone reproduction, considering this looks like it was filmed with a phone camera.

  • beautiful xxxxxxxxxxxx

  • amazing little girl!

  • She is so amazing...I just learned this song and I can't play it as good as she can.

  • that good haha

  • This girl play excellent!

  • she's amazing.

  • excellent perfoemance

  • Go Annie, Go Annie, still the ultimatley best performer of this song on youtube <3 I have watched several performers, some even claiming to have done excessive studies on Bach.

Annie still rocks the piano all over them (: There is NO ONE, that I have seen, that puts as much feeling and excellence into this invention, and she is an excellent performer otherwise too! <3 Love you Annie!

  • @MidnaLover While I too am astonished at Annie's abilities, I need to comment on your comment. Great music does not have a best performance. In great music is great potential, and performances will make the most of certain things and NECESSARILY underplay other things. Annie's speed kills the E minor cadence at 48". Other performers get that better. Sometimes, I want to hear THAT PART played right. Or played with care. The perfection exists in the written score, and we choose what to bring out.

  • shes so good....im officially depressed...

  • I'm 13 and this 8 year old can play this song better than me!!!!!!!!

  • This was amazing, truly. She did the flow and almost every note justice <3 :D

She will probably grow up to be a star.

  • She already is a star!

This isn't a hard song... but it's not an easy one either.. what a pro..

    I am truly impressed!

*hangs head in shame* i will never be as good :(

  • she is one of the best pianists i've ever seen, i was very amazed at such an incredible kid :)

  • Incredible!!!

  • Very nice interpretation! I just love 2-part inventions :)

  • Me 2. I love 2- part inventions.

  • Superb musicianship!! 8/5

  • You sure do enjoy playing it, we can't help but enjoy watching you!

    Great performance!

  • Gold child ...

    *******

  • all the best!

  • Beautiful!...listen to you every days, wish "OldRabit" would put me on my suscribers list and friends ?...thanks OldRabit for posting Annie's vids....:-)

  • i love you! lol

  • :O that means..she's in the nyc 5th level!! xD and tht's where i am :D..although shes more gud than i am ;]

  • Presto! Little Glenn Gould...

  • wow! you have lots of talent! its amazing!

you really can fell the music in you. i never people your age can play this amazingly hard invention!

    Pauline

  • Wow....

  • Wow! In spite of the speed the clarity is perfectly preserved. But then again, I should expect to be amazed.

  • OMG xD

    Thta was good

  • amazing :D

  • perfect !!

  • kinda fast but really good.

  • Das ist wahrlich eine pianistische Hochleistung!

  • Perfect.

  • Beautifully played!

  • Hello Annie,

    ~Anastasia Rizikov

  • Very good Annie! I like the fast ones. 5*****

  • I played this when I was ten, but I found it very challenging and never actually played as fast as you. Good Job!
