i like this idea but i just don't like how it sits around the face.. I'm always trying to find new ways as well for my 1 and 2 year old's hair.. my 2 yr old's hair is very curly and the curls are pretty tight. aw for my 1 yr old her hair is mainly just wavy. they are both mixed black and white.. If you have any other ways of keeping kids this young distracted let me know. this girls NEVER SIT STILL! haha

I tried this on my daughter yesterday and its looks sooo cute took me a few hours tho and she was suprisingly patient towards the end she got a lil upset but we got thru it!!

my daughter is mixed also, italian, black and puerto rican... but her hair is tightly wound curls in back and wavier on top... i doubt she would stay still for all this tho

@112geegee just be patient.. also distractions are great, tv, ice cream, her favorite toy etc..

you might have to change theh 'entertainment' several times, but eventually you will get it done! lol!

@112geegee my daughter is black white hispanic and her hair is the opposite, it does not have any tight curls at all but atleast for the most part it is not dry.

lol! aww thanks.. we just like to mix it up.. sometimes she is in braids, sometimes her curls go free and very rarely, i use curling tongs to give her ringlets.. ( for parties etc..those dont last tough.. only a few hours!
