  • Sweeeeet!!! Very nicely done!!

  • did you use greeble on the text to? imaa try 3d glass text with it or mirror in a forest

  • rofl jks

  • should put

    shaggy - keepin it real

    to it.

  • what's the song's name?

  • wow veeery nice

  • im curious how many time took for the renders and making the scene because its just awesome

  • lovely smoke! 5*****

  • Good stuff.

  • very nicely made and rendered and you used poets of the fal, great :D

  • nice choice in music, and loved the aerial view shots brillant!

  • Nice video. Gave me some inspiration for something I'm putting together myself. Just curious though, what is the name of the music you used in this and where may I find it?

  • awesome animation! an impressive way to put Greeble in a spotlight. btw, the smoke is awesome. look more like per particle render rather than facing maps. very nice!

  • i think the smoke took the most time but anyway it's so sick i really really loved it

  • Good work. Keep up the good greebling

  • impresiona, ojala agun día pueda hacer algo de ese calibre, felicitaciones

  • very nice work well done , bzt what was the render engine

  • Vray

  • and how long was the actual render time , do you have a render farm ? , only asking as i have been focusing mainly on single frame renders due to excessive render times in vray animation and i only have one computer which is in the bedroom and the mrs wouldent be to happy if it was running nonstop( big ass zalman cooler on my way overclocked dual core amd makes a lot of frigging noise ,but it works 30 percent overclocking 12 hours a day for last nine months no hiccups)

  • also what are your recomendations on graphic cards when it comes to vray rendering as i feel that my nvidia 5500 256mb agp card is seriousy the weakest link in my system there are some monster agp cards still for sale but they are kind of pricy and going sli means a whole new pc as i am still on s939 2x2200 overclocked @ 2x2800 and 2gb 184 pin ram , sorry for all the questions mate , great vid but

  • The graphics card doesn´t help in the render stage. Only when you working in the scene.

Upgrade to a 8800GT or like this

  • thankyou, very much youve been a great help keep up the good work

  • This animation render about in some weeks, usin a 6 node renderfarm and some computers

  • awesome animation man, is this possible in maya 8.5? thanks!

  • absolutely awesome

  • very well done

  • Muy buen trabajo, exelente render y direccion de camaras, buen ritmo. Felicidades!!

  • what's the name of the first song, it's very good. And the city is amazing, looks realistic.

  • Nice rendering. Did you use a plug-in for the smoke particles? Because they look great

  • wow very well done

  • how much time did you took to render all the animation?

I liked the city and the configuration of vray

  • awesome, the smoke is very nice!

  • Absolutely astonishing sequence, incredible rendering and lighting. Well done!

  • Created with 3DSMAX, rendered with Vray, postproduced and edited with Premiere.

    Thanks all for the comments.

  • How long did it take you to render?

  • About one month of work (modelling, lighting, rendering, etc)

  • omg, how long did this take u to render! my computer would die.. What lightning system did u use, vray, mentalray? or 3dsmax presets?

  • The music goes well with it. What's 'Greeble'?

  • its how he did all the buildings, it basicly makes lots of little squares on a surface then pulls them up to make em like buildings and stuff. Verry handy.

  • Best greeble render i've ever seen

  • Wow ! Great model & render.

  • a "must see" video for all 3d people!
