How to fix error (9) on the ipod touch to restore it!!!

Also just to add. How the fuck would this fix the issue? When trying to restore on 3 different computers with different versions of itunes you're saying that simply reinstalling all apple software fixes the issue? That's the dumbest shit ever. I don't agree with Fatdemon2 on the no fix for it, there probably is but this is just bullshit.

when i plug it into my computer, it says driver install failed. its in recovery mode, dfu doesnt work, and i tries this and it still doesnt work, and i also got the 9 error. my mom is pissed right now i need major help. the even worse part is that when i do connect it, itunes gave me a 8x100000 crap error.

ok well i tried doing this around 20 times (yes thats how determind i was to fix my ipod) and it never worked, then i took it to the i store and they sent it off and told me that the hard drive was broken (it couldn't be found). then they sent me a brand new ipod to replace it. and i went and picked up the new ipod, and 4 hours after i got it i upgraded the itunes, and it got the error 9 again!

and now i have no idea what to do. because i don't think they will be replacing it again. any ideas?

It worked for me... and it was very important to use the usb from the back because at first i used the one from the front and didnt worked... It fixed error 9 in my ipod touch... I LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH =) I cant believe thiss THANK YOUUUUUUU !

if you have the error 9, all you have to do is put it in dfu mode, then go to services and turn off apple services and then put it back on and then click restore and WAIT if you wait it will delete all your files and you will be able to use it agian thats what i did and now its working
