here's an idea. start -> All program files -> Accessories -> Sound recorder.

Start with that.

You don't need a mic btw.

Go here, Edit -> Audio Properties. In the recording box, click Volume. Then select the Stereo Mix recorder. If it isn't there, press Options -> Properties, then check Stereo Mix. Then dothe above and start recording
