Jennifer is a genious and really proved it with this one. She showed more range than ever in writing this series. Too bad it got canceled. wtf? This series could have gone on forever if you ask me. My grandma lives in this village, I know nearly all the places they filmed and I met Dawn French, Joanna Lumley, Sue Johnston and spoke to them for a while, and I saw Jennifer Saunders but didn't get a chance to talk to her, but my grandma has spoken to her lots :) I also got Dawn and Joanna's autographs too ;D they're really nice to their fans!:D<3

My granny lives in Devon, and I've spend every summer and christmas with her since i was a baby, and believe me, it is ACTUALLY like this ;D She i just like half the women here....they've nailed it perfectly! Pure comedy gold!

@AbFabFan09 ~ Hats off to you for posting this delightful programme! I searched for it on YouTube a while back but wasn't able to find it, then forgot about it. Watching episodes of "Roger and Val Have Just Got In" this morning reminded me to look for J&J again... and, oh happy day!  This is the perfect storm of characters, writing, actors, setting... all superb! I've laughed so hard watching just this bit so far. Can't wait to view the rest. Many thanks!

I have absolutely fallen in love with Devon and the West Country accent - alright my loverrr! I love it - this is a brilliant programme. Great for the Winter when you just want to watch TV and snuggle up and keep warm with a pot of tea... Oh dear - I'm in my 20's! I sound ancient!
