  • I really was expecting some stupid pop version but this sounds almost like gospel :)

  • let's be honest, she doesn't have the best voice ever. But it's sweet, that's what it is. It's nice to listen to and this song is a great choice for her. It's a sweet and beautiful song. Good song selection, good vocals with some gusto - I've never heard her feeling a song more than this one so props.

  • @brickmonster hey cmon!! dont say that she doesn't the best voice ever . she has!!! for me she have a best voice ever!!

  • @angelafanatic do you speak english?

  • Spanish Harlem. Nuf said.

  • she really could have done a much better job. this sounds too 90's britney spears pop voice-ish. i know mandy's better than this, just wish it was done as well as i know it could have been

  • Wow I was expecting a crap pop version too, but she did a good job.

  • she is so under rated, i really enjoy her voice almost a nice a version as Nancy Wilson

  • love her

  • I go to singing lessons at a dance school, and we are doing an alice in wonderland themed show, and this is what my singing group are doing! I love this version!!

  • never heard this version before. not all that great but alright.... originals way better of course!

  • The indigo girls do a great cover of this song too.

  • This song is amazing my colorgaurd is using for this indoor season

  • i love this interpretations by Mandy Moore.

    Elton John's songs are classics!

  • i heard this on my pandora, and i did a double take. i love the original version of this song, but Mandy's vocals are great. I'm a singer myself, and when i heard her opening notes, i immediately had to find the song on itunes and buy it. Absolutely wonderful!

  • Judith Durham does a great version of this

  • Not bad. The instrumental stuff that comes in around 1:40 could have been scaled back a little bit.

  • Question for poster of song: do you know why it goes back to the beginning briefly at the end, after a silence? Is that a mistake? I have listened to this song many times in the last 1+ years, so I always wondered about that...Thanks for posting it!

  • Been an Elton fan since 1972. Have many hours listening, many concerts attended. This is one of my most treasured songs. I have always liked Mandy Moore. After hearing her cover of this song, my thoughts of Mandy have gone from liking her to loving and respecting her as a vocalist.

    Great job.

  • I love her coverage album. She really respect those artist that she had cover.

  • yeah the key change is def. a touch. good cover indeed!!!

  • well, i was expecting a trashy-pop version, but....that was excellent! and impressive that it was completed in only 8 seconds less than the original 5:00 Elton John recording.

  • @doofus0123 Mandy Morre is not a trashy pop singer, thank you very much lol. that would be why!!! silly.

  • much better key for the song.

  • this my dance song! came out soo good!!

  • i love this song, i love her

  • This is so good! Love her version!

  • lol said that out loud, then scrolled for comments and went, "hey! i just said that!" lol

  • Some notes are changed, but I like it in this key much better.

  • This is such a good cover, it retains the emotion of the original, and it doesn't weaken the message and power of the song with stupid bubble gum pop idiocy.

  • this is the mandy moore cover

I love her version, it was on the coverage cd

  • who sings this?

  • wow, nice! I don't like covers, but this is good.

  • beautiful♥
