i'm not sure i'd believe that a.p. carter wrote this. a lot of the songs copyrighted to him were merely folks songs of unknown origin collected by him and then copyrighted.

AP Carter wrote the song Little Darling Pal of Mine. Woody Guthrie borrowed the tune of When the World's on Fire for his This Land is Your Land.

This is simply great! Nothing like the simplistic, heartfelt music of the Carters; and what a great video presentation as well. Though times were hard, so many of the people in these photos have a BIG smile and a sparkle in their eyes. They were a strong, proud people. . . survivors! People with a deep, abiding faith and determination. People from that era were just made out of differnt "stuff" that today's generation. FIVE STARS!!!!
