Throughout my childhood, both parents got into arguments and would use ME as some pawn in their wars, decieving me to get me to their side and so on and so forth... so at a very young age I decided that my parents were both being more childish even than I, and made the mature decision to make God my true father, and he has rescued me ever since and I'm on the road to being a Worship Pastor, or whatever God wants for me... make him your ultimate Father too! he won't let you down.

I will def LOVE some prayer. My family is going through something major and can so quickly turn horrible. And the horrible things done is from family members. Nothing seems to be going right for us and working in our favor. I feel aone and helpless...I know God is here I know he is, but I still feel alone. I know he will take care of us, but I need be reminded several times daily he is here it will be ok.

@babypenguin07 Even though you wrote this ten months ago, and I don't know if you came up with a solution but , all I would say is find five people close to you who don't know Christ.. and try your hardest every chance you get in your life, to talk to them about Jesus and what He means to you and possibly for them. Pray for them as well, and God will change their hearts. Just continue to speak to them nonstop.. and love them with absolutely all your heart... n you'll be fine.. :)

Don't give up. It is completely biblical. There are many of us who do believe and it's not too late to reach out to the ones who don't believe. Pray for them every day. I agree that it's discouraging. I have a husband that use to be an atheist before we were married but with many people who loved him and prayer, he came to know God and is a very Godly man. Never give up on the lost! We were all there at one time. Take care.

@babypenguin07 God knows that though. He knows the world is going to reject Him. The easier road in alot of peoples minds is rejecting God, because it hsa the least amount of accountability. All you can to bring people to Christ is love ALL people, even people that hate you. Also, pray for those that hate you, it makes loving them easier. When you do those two things God will/can move in miraculous ways!
There was a time in December '08 that I needed answered prayer, and God used this video/song to encourage me and uplift me. God eventually answered that prayer and saved me. Now i'm in need of answered prayer right now, a big answered prayer.

One more thing- the devil will try to tell you that you are not worthy of His forgiveness. he will tell you things lik you havent changed and that your future is dismal....when these thoughts come, simply put on some music and worship.

This is the first time I've heard this song.
Usually I like to pray to praise and worship songs like this but I've gotten so comfortable with them that I've gotten distracted & would end up singing instead of praying. So I looked up desperation band & this is the first one I saw by them that I haven't heard before. I love it. I NEED YOU, JESUS!

What a great song! Paul Mabury is producing Desperation Band this summer. He's produced a lot of the hillsong records too and I found out he's in this new band One Sonic Society. Incredible band and I encourage everyone to check them out!

@babypenguin07 Even though you wrote this ten months ago, and I don't know if you came up with a solution but , all I would say is find five people close to you who don't know Christ.. and try your hardest every chance you get in your life, to talk to them about Jesus and what He means to you and possibly for them. Pray for them as well, and God will change their hearts. Just continue to speak to them nonstop.. and love them with absolutely all your heart... n you'll be fine.. :)

Don't give up. It is completely biblical. There are many of us who do believe and it's not too late to reach out to the ones who don't believe. Pray for them every day. I agree that it's discouraging. I have a husband that use to be an atheist before we were married but with many people who loved him and prayer, he came to know God and is a very Godly man. Never give up on the lost! We were all there at one time. Take care.

there was a time when i used to go to church ... but not for beliving... but when i was in very ugly problems i tried to find jesus ... but he found me first =) ...he helpd me and he continue helping me .. there was a time when i was a no beliver ... now i cant say God doesnt exist... i now he exist and he is the God of gods.. love this song.. btw ,, my language is not english i just want to share this little story ... @babypenguin07 God knows that though. He knows the world is going to reject Him. The easier road in alot of peoples minds is rejecting God, because it hsa the least amount of accountability. All you can to bring people to Christ is love ALL people, even people that hate you. Also, pray for those that hate you, it makes loving them easier. When you do those two things God will/can move in miraculous ways!

There was a time in December '08 that I needed answered prayer, and God used this video/song to encourage me and uplift me. God eventually answered that prayer and saved me. Now i'm in need of answered prayer right now, a big answered prayer.

@IamGoodyesIam i will...but you need to surrender all to him....just giv up and tell Him take over...read your bible- pik a passage to read and pray and ask him to speak to you. Also get rid of anything that can in ANY way drag you back into a backslidden state. One more thing- the devil will try to tell you that you are not worthy of His forgiveness. he will tell you things lik you havent changed and that your future is dismal....when these thoughts come, simply put on some music and worship.

@dbbrowneboy continuing...dont give the devil any space....and surround yourself with Godly people....find a Spirit filled church and attend regularly...start that fire burning for the things of God and it will become very difficult for you to fall and stay there....you'll be able to rebound quickly...God bless and go hard in your pursuit of Him.
