Hip hop isn't that hard to beatmatch. Just focus on the claps or snares. I don't recommend counting on the BPM meter, because you never know what it thinks. My player usually have it right, but i still recommend to check it yourself.

Considering that hip hop is the hardest to mix in and out of.. U need to kill ure vocals when intermixing with a new track... Hip hop beats are all over the place... so try to que ure bpm together but kill the vocals.. good luck

Yeah for the hard drive you just need the right cables, and yeah you can connect it to a mic. Lol and yeah, it would be good for some little house/basement/garage parties. If you wanted to do REAL parties, I'd suggest getting some hardware thats a bit better though.

This system is great. You can hook it up to a any computer or mp3 player. For both computer and mp3 player use a two and one RCA cable. Plus, you can hook up turntables as well.

Hey DanceVideosX not too sure but i doubt they have a usb input. If you're thinking of taking ur hobby to the next level and have the money look into getting Serato Scratch Live. I've got 2 x stanton c.324's I'm just saving up to get the Serato. You can play all ur music from the laptop software they provide you also look into Vestax Computer DJ comes with Serato Itch and the great thing about it is its portable goes into ur backpack easily and it auto beatmatches and can scratch
