  • whats the price gonna be ?

  • gas prices go up and so do electric power you can't win ever! no matter what they will find away to get your money!

  • True but still, my new car must be an electric one. I love the fact that its quiet, no more stinking fumes, and the hours to recharge don't bother me, because i never have to drive large distances. By the way nissan has a prototype that can be fully charged in 30minutes.

  • yeah but the battle here is not only to save money, but to reduce pollution.

  • Especialy with this cap and trade madness.

  • It's true that there's no such thing as a free lunch in this life but an electric car will still be cheaper to run than an gas car, you need to look at the cost "per a mile" figures.

  • what about the Kw/H how much that has gone up in the last 5 years thats all i'm saying

  • yes the Kw/H price has risen but not as much as the oil price has shot up, oil prices fell just after the banks fell apart because people tightened their belts or lost their jobs but now the price is rising again and it will only get worse once economies begin to recover and demand for oil rises again, we need a two pronged approach to the problem, we need to invest like mad in renewable energy and also in electric cars too

  • 3:15 contrast - Bentley or ugly green electric car ... hmmm......

  • I they mad an electric or CNG Bentley Continental, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

  • can u drive it in rain?

  • Yes, but not under water.

  • Not underwater? And, I thought the c30 was cool. lol

  • Cool yes, but not water proof.

  • i wouldn't drive that too, EnigmaNZ1 it had funny shape. like it has a big ass or something.

  • Whats really interesting is that I have seen 2 technical sites working on new battery chemistries that are promising up to 10 times the energy density of current li-ion types used in electric cars. So in time this Volvo could have a battery pack half the size and weight with twice the range. In places like Norway, or here in NZ it could get its power from a totally renewable power generating company. Looks a lot better than offerings from Japan as well.

  • I won't drive a weird looking car with skinny wheels and a ugly dash that electric/hybrids cars have had. I want a normal car with electric drive that blends in, not an ugly fashion statement that screams, look at me, I'm green and boring.
