SM64 Hack:: Super Mario 128: On the Castle

I don't get why people think this is a great mod. Nothing cool or interesting even happened. There were a bunch of blocks, an enemy on top of the castle, and Mario stood around doing nothing. Am I missing something here?

It doesn't matter, select the .rom anyway. If it doesn't show, change the '.iso' to 'all files' in the opening box.

Thank you, but i figured it out...OMG this game is so amazing! i cant believe how great this game is! i also found something in the castle...i noticed a red coin, so im hunting for the 8 red coins ;). Whomps fortress is really hard...moon jump and infinite health are the cheats i needed. im playing the game till the end...but the funny thing is that i lakitu skipped in the beginning =P. is all of it finished? great work. cant thank you enough...real b-day was yesterday,and this is my prezesnt xD

Thanks for the enthusiasm! This edition is the first 1/3 of the game (1 cap, 1 bowser, 4 levels) I'll release the next edition when I finish the second 1/3 of the game. (Need to make 5 levels before then -- 35 stars) My favorite level is the second bowser level, it's really great.

yea. i got 16 stars...the bowser level was difficult...so i had to use the moon jump =P...and i love the death doors xD some make the game freeze, which means i use a savestate to go back where i was before...savestates are golden in your game :P...cant wait for the next release. and also, should i advertise, and, like, make a tutorial on how to play this game? like how to patch the rom? cause it was kind of confusing at first. but then i figured it out. when is the next one coming out anyways?

You can't just run a .ppf file, you have to patch it to a rom. There's a video link in the description on how to do that. Hope it helps.

I did but it is really weird the bob-omb battlefield sends me to tall tall mountain and the game freezes if I don't use the path around the grass to the castle. also, did you change the texture or is it supposed to be normal

Are you patching it to a normal, unchanged ROM?

And the room with the bob-omb battlefield sends you to the tall tall mountain level. That's normal, but you would have used a star cheat or something to get in there. The textures are supposed to be changed.
