  • hey men can you do a tutorial of carbon fiber paint but with cans i mean can paint please

  • can u do that affect on the metal model cars of does it have to be on the plastic rc cars?

  • Is it hard to get the carbon fiber look around the inside curves of the rc body? Any secrets you know of? I'm thinking of painting the hood and sides of the body but don't know if I can make it around the curve...

  • i seen a way better way to do carbon fiber that looks real and its not a decal its carpet tape!! in a 2010 issue of Xtreme rc cars

  • can you make a video on complexed tribal

  • nice

just a question could u do a video but not painting on the practice board but on a lexan car?

    thanks

  • it actually doesnt look so good- its out of scale

but good job. exellent effect on bigger surfaces

  • wait so you have an rc car

  • nice, but where do you think that i can find a mask for the right rc body?

  • how would you do that on a body?? it would be kinda hard dont you think??

  • What is the Checkered Mat you layed down called?

  • @AllRitten shelf liner

  • Could u use spray paint

  • wat kain mesh can use to paint a honda civic hood ?

  • what brand of paint?

  • does normal auto air panit stick to lexane bodies? the same with plastic and any other materials? what about all the prep work... the base coat!?

as: satanslittlehelper93 said, is there some kind of heat resistant paint also?

  • how would i get into this? i really wanna do airbrishing but i dont no how to get into it?

  • Shucks, auto stores, hardware ect

  • where do you buy the shelf liners at?

  • Hi,

    well i got one question..

How do you do this inside the shell..?

Because usually for RC we air brush inside not out side, In this case do we Air brush outside..?

  • this is how you do it inside thats why you use a transparent black first to make the gray pop out and use the background to close teh deal

  • @godaya

you spray the transparent black inside the body first, then the silver, still inside the body, and then the background colour.you have to start with a TRANSPARENT colour first, or the rest of your design will not show through

  • Im gonna try and do this on my AE86 Drift Body!

  • This goes well with heat resistant paint. want to do this on my car's engine hood

  • popular technique about 2 years ago .... snakeskin is similar technique but much hard to pull off on lexan.

  • how do u do that with a spay can

  • does this stick to the body even when the body is twisted a bit or does it only work4 like the showroom?

i mean can u use the bodyshell?

  • I have some questions.

Must I use a primer to do this fiber carbon? If yes, what should I do if the primer is black, red or any color else?

Will I see the primer's color through my transparent black?

  • I'll do it with my PS3 and PC Case. XD

  • wow.... thanks man. just for this vid im subscribing and and adding this vid to my fav.

  • fucking sick

  • I work in Aviation and can tell you that a RC car/truck bodie can be molded from carbon fiber. I have actually thought about doing one just to dismiss the skeptics.

  • That would be sweet. Never know, it may take off...early retirement...stop day dreaming, back to work.

  • It could, since you can mold most things in CF, but it would weigh loads more than in Lexan, that's why it's not done!

  • now this was bad ass my man! 5 starz

  • This must look good with blue flames!5/5

  • Awesome i will try this on my next shell... Whats the betting i cock it up! it'll fun to try.

  • or you could just get real carbon fiber

  • yeah, you could probably do that. Spend all that time moulding it to fit onto an RC bonnet, then screwing it on, adding a bit more weight to the shell. Then hope it doesnt fly off when you are running it. Maybe read the title to find out what the rest of us is talking about before you post.

  • LOL face carbon fiber not kool

obvisly you have no idea what your talking about to get carbon fiber that size for an rc car is not much if your really that lazy and want fake carbon fiber your jsut making your self look cheap there is a huge noticable diffrence between real and fake CF do your research man

  • PLUS why spend money LOTS of money on real carbon fiber for a RC car?

  • +1 im with theomen88.. a carbon body would probably weight the same or more than a lexan body an d cost A LOT more money. not to mention, carbon wont bend and flex as well as lexan will, therefore you just end up wasting money and looking like a tool. its an r/c car... not a race car. it doesn't need real carbon fiber

  • Don't be a fool blazzer... this video is obviously about painting carbon fiber on a clear r/c car body. There is no way you could mold a body for your car without it looking completely retarded. Try reading the title or even the description next time...

  • i did read the title that why i came in here

if you dont think CF cant be molded as an r/c body or parts then you really should get some more info/knowledge before you start saying things your not sure of carbon fiber and be molded in to any shaped jsut take examples from any where f1 cars, sea equipment, space equipment if you think people cant mold it for an r/c car or parts then you are sadly mistaken make fake carbon fiber is a cheap bad looking way to do things

  • In that case, you don't know much about r/c cars then. The whole point of this is to incorporate carbon fiber into a paint scheme. r/c bodies are painted from the inside so the paint doesn't scratch off when you damage the body. If you made a body out of carbon fiber, assuming you even got it to look decent doing it yourself, you wouldn't be able to paint over any of it without it just scratching right off after one roll-over.

  • lol lol lol internet arguments hahaha WGAF

  • its an rc..just wanna make it REALISTIC. that is wat rc about.

  • Do you wait for the layers to dry or do you just add the liner and/silver/black paint while its all still wet?

Great vid by the way, i was thinking of just using stick on sheets for my CF bonnet but now ill try this on my S15.

    Thank you.

  • yh while its still wet .....jk wait 4 it 2 dry!

  • I want that on my car!!!

  • AWESOME!!

  • yes is great but were buy the mesh or grill dont find

  • its shelf liner go to ace or any were that has house hold items and . usually comes in rolls . that are white or blue some times .

  • Wow. That is pretty siick.

  • CF gives me a boner

  • what video editing software do you use?

  • Adobe Premier Pro

  • your a wiz with it man.

    Loved the airbrushing.

    been watching since the start

  • do you use adobe after effects for your titles and transitions?

  • Awesome

  • hey i love the look but i dont have an airbrush would it be harder to do with like the cans? i think it could be done but im not very good with painting

  • No, not hard with cans.

  • Admittedly, very awesome. I'm definitely going to try that next time.

  • amazing as always =D

  • awesome!

  • Nice..
