  • Are these Roman Catholic Priests? As you say that this chapel is now used by Anglicans, I have a fear that this is invalid.

  • One of the defining feature of Sarum Mass is the raising of the hands of the priest at 5:28 when he says the UNDE ET MEMORES in crucifixion-like manner. You cannot see it in any other Latin Rite Masses, only here in the Sarum Rite Mass.

  • sarum rite is from the year 1078

its the father of tridentine rite create in 1525

thats one of the most beautiful mass in the catholic religion

and is célébrate by the protestant anglican today

horay!!!! for the return of anglican to catholic

  • A great pity that Anglo-Catholics did not restore Sarum Use -- instead of doing copycat Tridentine ritual.

  • How wonderful - Tallis' 'Missa Puer Natus'! Let's pray for the return of the Sarum Use in England - alongside the Ordinary and Extraordinary Forms.

  • No genuflecting, this is quite accurate, cause in Sarum rites they would bow profoundly

  • No. It is a Catholic Mass celebrated in an Oxford College chapel which was consecrated as a Catholic building, but now is used by Anglicans.

  • Is this an Anglo-Catholic parish?
