  • its funny how the lighter blacks always take the lead...mandela..malcolm x..luther king....

  • @021kdu C'mon you'd have to compare Mandela & MLK to blackcurrant in order for them to be pronounced "light". While there was a Malcolm X there was also Marcus Garvey, Medgar Evers, Stokely Carmichael, among others, who were dark. Black leaders, like black people, come in many shades. Whether their families intermarried or were subjected to centuries of sexual violence, light or dark, racism doesn't accept any shade of black so the struggle is fundamentally the same.

  • where can i find a copy of the completed domument?

  • @toywitme2009 It's on netflix's instant streaming. If you're into that sort of thing.

  • Why can't we have revenge against the whites. Spill there blood and kill their children. Destroy them. Kill them!!!!

  • @WarriorClass22 You're probably a white person in disguise saying this nonsense. So you want to be just as ignorant and evil as the people you dislike?

  • @WarriorClass22 because black people arent as inherently evil as most whites.

  • @WarriorClass22 This isn't Skyrim, calm your ass down.

  • LOVE HER!

  • What a disgusting, racist question from the interviewer.

  • @Helenmary123 It may have been a disgusting, racist question, but it was a question that needed to be asked. Especially from a white foreigner who had no idea about the situation in the US. Angela's answer was exactly what needed to be heard! I'm just happy that the white foreign interviewer allowed her to speak freely without interruption. Today, Davis and I would probably disagree on many issues, but not on the power of this interview.

  • @nabsentia23

Well, I'm a white foreigner and knew everthing about the black struggle in America, now and at the time of the interview when I was very young.

I can't imagine why you would disagree with Angela Davis - she stands for human rights and justice - simple!!

  • She is a hero, and the whole interview (shame missed the first part) is one of the most touching interviews I have seen in my life... it contains the raw feelings that push people, force people, to take action to support their rights to live in peace.

  • Just finished watching this documentary. It was, of course, just great.

  • She is so awesome, I am writing a big exam-assignment about her right now.

  • where can you get/buy the film?

  • hi i'm sorry ,but why was she so influential she can hardly talk and also you can tell she is lying i know the bombings happened

  • wow this lady Ms. Angela blows my mind

  • where can i get this word by word

  • LOVE HER!
