I visited the Berghof land in July, 1990. Back then, the guest house was still standing, although the roof and partially collapsed.

It was a weird feeling to be standing where Adolf Hitler once stood.

Loved by tens of millions of Germans, hated by millions more foreigners, one thing is certain: He will continue to fascinate for years to come.

Im confused as to what this video shows as none of it showed the berghof or even the area. Alot of scenes of cliffs no mountains in the area of the berghof as there is no mountain behind it just a hill and what was the guest house which is shown in the video or the new glass house the german government created out of the old guest house. So im not sure what the title means.

The Berghof cant be shown because it was demolished in 1952 and fast growing tree's were planted to stop Nazi's sympathisers coming to worship Hitler at his house.

The Beghof is all but gone, there only remains the rear boundry wall of the building, the rest was blown up by the bavarian government years ago. there are still bunkers there and speers house is still there.the Eagles nest (Kehlsteinhaus) which is not the Berghof was a party present for Hitlers 50th on top of the mountain behind the Berghof. well worh a visit if your there but hitlers gaff is long gone.and yea...crap music to go with such ugly theme.

I was there recently, and the remains of the driveway up to where the house once stood is still there, especially when viewed from the Hotel Zum Turken. In many famous pictures of Hitler greeting crowds at the foot of the driveway, the Hotel can be seen in the background, a little way up the hill.

Also, a tree that was given to the Fuhrer by Martin Bormann is still standing at the foot of the driveway. I don't think many people know about that tree, which is why it's still there. Did you know?

Why we should have beautiful music to the beautiful memories one surely can' t and won't believe the lies. When one learns about what really happened in WW2 they find the myths told by the allies to cover up their own crimes have been to blame the Germans and they are false. So with the evidence before me I chose to believe the truth and I will enjoy the beautiful music and the beautiful memories. David Irving is not a reliable source. I admire his courage, but not his scholarship. He writes what amounts to historical fiction, with no references to back up his claims. I am sympathetic to his intentions, but not his errors. Hundreds of well-referenced works are all around you that contradict your claim. Using unreliable sources does more harm to your cause than saying nothing.

Remember, David Irving is not a credible source. Also, one other thing, "LOL!" does not count as a reference.

Flip through the rear of any of his books and you'll find endless reliable sources. For example, he consults national archives in the U.S., UK, Australia, Poland, etc. He read through all 43 volumes of German codes broken by the Brits. Much of this is reproduced on his website.

He is only considered "not a credible source" by the Jewish establishment which wants the public to continue believing the Hollywood version of WWII and not the true version of WWII.
