I don't wish that on Zack, or anyone for that matter, but to be given a project of this size just doesn't seem like a good idea. I would entrust Spielberg with a picture of this degree, but then again, who wouldn't? Peter Jackson would do phenomenally, but he's a lot on his plate with the Hobbit films. Possibly James Cameron, but he's gonna remain busy as hell with his new child, Avatar. It doesn't really matter, because Zack has already started filming, so now we sit back and hope for the best.

No, I'm not, because quite frankly, I hated Watchmen and Sucker Punch. I will admit that I enjoyed 300 and the Dawn of the Dead remake, but he seems to be on a shit streak. Sort of like the Shyamalan case. Enjoyed The Sixth Sense, loved Unbreakable, but it seemed to head downhill from there. The Village was a one-time view, not too impressive, but whatever. Then came the embarrassing Lady in the Water, followed by the awful The Happening, all the way to the abomination that I dare not name.

Although not the most vital in the Superman franchise, the film was excellent. Good storyline and fantastic visuals. I give props to Bryan for making the film he wanted to make rather than create a film to appease audiences........I'm not going to watch the Snyder flick, though.

Superman Returns sucked because the movie was TERRRRRRRRIBLE! I wish I had heard this before I went to see that crap. It had nothing to do with religion, the script was terrible, the actors were wrong, and it should have been a standalone movie. I see he still hasn't gotten it because he still says he would have made a remake. Superman's costume was too dark. His costume should reflect a hope for a brighter tomorrow. Plus the costume should of been more similar too Christopher Reeves look. I would say keep the chest piece, but brighter cape. the shorts were too short, it should of been cut above the waist, not below, again like Reeves costume. Maybe keep the belt, idk.

Ultimately, it didn't work because the delivery was bad. I could have accepted the general premise, but the mix was too corny, too sugary. I don't want mindless entertainment (even if it's a summer blockbuster). I must care for the characters, and thus care for what they're going through. Even though Superman is a nice, his movie doesn't have to be "nice." The movie was just too smushy and dormant for its own good.

The main things wrong with "Superman Returns" was that Lois was too much of a bitch and we didn't need that side story of the wimpy and sick kid being Superman's. Of course, I was hoping that Bizarro would of been in a future project by Singer, being that there were some things that said it may happen, especially the game that featured a Bizarro side game.

Well, the idea of taking superman to a level like that is kind of endearing, it just didn't work with this movie. For a superhero film such as Superman Returns, you need some action to bring a substance to the movie. It was just poorly written, and the weak performances certainly didn't help it either.
