Thanks, beezeyeview -- that means a lot! It was really hard for me to learn to use Illustrator, so I wanted to help other artists avoid the same hassle. Cheers! --sherm
There are very few Illustrator videos that explain HOW TO work with the layers and brushes to achieve a final piece like yours!! They are highly valuable and I look forward to seeing more!!!
You might also consider Scissors tool to cut off lines right between where you need them and where you don't. Then Shift-Ctrl-G to DeGroup and select the fragment so you can delete it!
Hi, I'm using Illustrator CS3 on Windows Vista, I would find it extremely handy to add extra anchor points to my straight lines to manipulate them alittle better, or just simply reshape them, but I can't seem to find the reshape tool, the icon isn't in the tool bar and I've moused over them all and none of them seem to be close to what you used.. ?? Plz help!
I hope OS doesn't make the difference altho it shouldn't should it? My Aunt has a Mac with Photoshop and its the same as on my home PC.
how did u create the white out brush as in what are the settings?

Hi jag...I don't have any idea what a clipping mask is. I'm guessing it would be easier? Believe me...I'm open to tips from anybody!

Thx for the tutorials!
Why do you use a white out brush instead of a clipping mask?
