  • Age has mellowed this guy, who was rather arrogant back in our school days. I recall in middle school, he began punching a guy in the face who was just removing his jacket, arms hung up in the sleeves. Never understood how the three of them got along, Doug and John being really nice guys.

But God bless Stuart, how he has matured!

  • really a top notch interview with a truly worthy subject! thanks for sharing.

  • "Creedence is one of America's best exports... like a cheeseburger or a coke." Truer words were never spoken.

  • The vocalist of CC Revisited is cool looking but horrible, horrible vocalist for an acute listener like me. They should find a vocalist who does not sound "flat" some places, which is brutal and shameful for a vocalist and does not stress places where he shouldn't and is closer to John Fogerty. If the voice does not match John Fogerty's, which is very difficult to find then it should be the same "note" with a different voice.

  • Josh: I just watched CC revisted Friday Night live--"Bulldog" the singer did a great job--Some say--this group is better the originals

  • @Lambru411961 And some people say that Hitler was a swell guy.

Revisited is a shitty cover band.

  • @Lambru411961 They do a great job! People that are saying it's just a simple cover band should think first: half of the members are still playing the music they made (I know John wrote the songs, but the other 3 added a lot instrumentally), and we should be greatful they still do! I've also noticed that John's singing voice dried a bit out from the time they split up, first in 1972 as a trio with Tom leaving the group, I think it's sounds different than 1970 if you listening to live recordings.

  • probly does bcos he hass all of the rights n they r a registered band covering their songs so itl b the same as if someone wanted to cover a song that anyone else wrote

  • wonder if john fogerty receives royaltie's for them playing the songs he wrote ??

  • I've wondered that too. I'm pretty sure John Fogarty makes damn sure he gets royalties, especially since they have an antagonistic relationship with each other.

Their whole story is tragic, really. One huge fight after another.

  • From a legal perspective, Yes-Festival records has now given back the performance rights, song rights & copyright of the CCR catalogue so he would receive royalties from each instance of performance-quite right too!
