tried to download a 330 mb dailymotion video with it. Each time Orbit canceled the d/l at around 230 mb: download failed ! message.

Why do you need to go through all this trouble when a standard browser with a realplayer record plugin can download the video for you? I just put the mouse over the vid window and click "Download this video".

RealPlayer doesn't download from this page. I tried it 5 times already. Neither does FF work.

You used to be able to download with just a right click in firefox. I think the reason it stopped working is that RealPlayer didn't update the required plug-in. I now use google chrome to download vids but even that has stopped working with youtube vids. It could also be something youtube have done to make it difficult to save their vids on your computer.

I have youtube downloader. Never knew I had Orbit, I tried to download something with youtube downloader and Orbit comes up instead "I WILL DO IT BECAUSE I'M HARDCORE" first off, I told it to FUCK OFF. THEN i tried it and before the video was even half watchable on youtube ORBIT had already nabbed the whole thing, so I had finished watching it offline before it was finished loaded online EVEN though I had to download it to watch it offline too.

I never downloaded it though.

everytime i do what u just did it says type proper URL. the thing is the stupid software won't let me do it. all this software doesn't convert the file out of it's original format does it? cause if not, it's totally useless.
