  • mein gott! und himmelstrasse....mein fuhrer livez...Peter Sellers....

  • Superb, years ahead of its time. I still think this is their best single by far. Short and oh so sweet.

  • One of the best bands ever. Big voice and brilliant songs. Great! Great! Great!

  • They are in my :Top 50 bands i ever heard in my life and i've heard thousands, and i take music very seriously !!! ;o)

  • Probably One Of My Favourite All Time Sparks Songs

  • Just beautiful.

  • Sparks were the first band I saw live in 1972 at Fairfield Halls in Croydon.

Ahhhhhh..... those were the days... I remember when this was alllll fields.. ha ha

  • Why can I picture this song being played at the opening credits of a Tarantino movie?

  • i never would have known them when they didnt release WHEN DO IS ING TO ----

    they are great

  • Sparks got there 30 years before Mika !!!!

  • Baby Zowie is a movie director today. See Moon with Sam Rockwell.

  • oh my god i think the most of the early depeche mode songs are inspired by it

    for exampke IT DOESNT MATTER

  • Really good to hear it again - thank you for posting it. I loved Russell and Ron and their quirky music and once in '72 or '73 met them in Waitrose, Beckenham ! They were nice guys and I got their autograph! A bit of useless info for you! Trying to find an album version of Girl from Germany but only found a live one. Still v good. Across from the ad agency where I worked we would see Angie pushing baby Zowie Bowie past Beckenham green with her yellow hair. Happy days :o)

  • This is one of the most brilliant, radiant, energetic and refreshing songs ever. 1974 was a good year for true pop music. I wonder why there hasn't been any environmental defense group up till now that has employed this song in their campaign.

  • you are spot on...... guess even those who are switched on in one sense are not in another...... mega song

  • @abfab5300 Beautifully said. And I have wondered the same thing.

  • i can't remember this piece of brilliance when it was released........ and I was alive

  • My video from old channel, made by me!

  • @YCSMusic, maybe by you, I don't know. So, thanks, good work.

  • grasp at straws that don't want grasping

  • wow. These guys started out very big guitar rock.Still unorthodox .A really great AMERICAN Band!

  • Awesome song. I am shaking all over, still after 35 years. Thanks for some pics in this video taht I have not seen earlier. In Helsinki ( June 2008 ) this song was performed in a very different way. Not to mention that I did not like it. Long Live Sparks.
