The Bushmen featured in this movie is also known as the Ju'/hoansi. By the time they made this movie, 1980, the Bushmen are not so "isolated" from the outside world anymore. They already know about paper money, the S.Africa Army, and all that stuff. This movie's depiction of the Bushmen, or the Ju'/hoansi is inaccurate. I don't think it has any education purposes for its inaccuracy. However, if we only watch it as purely a movie, it's pretty entertaining.

They've changed alot since the 1950's. Now, they wear levi jeans and drink Coca-Cola products. At least that's what my anthropology book says, and what my professor taught. Technically, they turned into us.
there are real bushmen then and now and they used real bushmen to be in the film.. the main one is a true bushman and there was a special on tv a few years back about him and how he has been doing since.. these movies (teh gods must be crazy) were made for entertainment and to educate people about the bushman.. they are real and there is little to no false info on them in these movies.. its really neat.. its one reason i love these movies
