What an amazing video! Thanks for sharing! Oh, what I would give just to hear the conversations that these kids were having. And watching this video made me think about how time travels pretty fast! Thanks again for sharing this video with us & for your words of wisdom. If I may add, the date you uploaded this video here on You Tube, well, I was in labor for the second day. I had gone into labor on August 11, 2010; I gave birth to my first child, a baby boy, on August 13, 2010 at 11:38am.
Cool video! It's interessting to see what it was like at that time. Though I didn't live during the 60s, I think that I quite like this period, where people dressed properly and elegantly, where good manners and etiquette still meant something... also the music of that time was awesome!
@xavierob We are all 17 and 18 in this video, which was originally shot in 8mm color film. Not even very many color movie cameras around then, either. We just had our 50th high school reunion and this was of major interest at the event. We are not used to seeing anything apart from photos from back then. It had quite an impact. At least a half-dozen vibrant kids seen here, just starting life, are now deceased. Enjoy yourself, it only lasts a moment. Find what you like and do a lot of it.
@Catsnamed thanks for the information, and your very wise piece of advice! ;-) I can very well imagine the pleasure people must have had to see this film, bringing them back to their youth! I wish you to enjoy your life and hope that you are doing fullfiling things!
Who is the girl in 5:37? She should have been in movies!!
