  • Great Panzer IV tank, now if we can just build a full size one we can go into combat, LOL! :D

  • I guess not using a glossy clear coat before a wash would give it a nice weathering effect around the panel lines.

  • nice vid, helped my a lot on my new German Wespe

  • I'll never understand why they paint the tracks while they're on the kriffing tank. Especially when the tank in question has exposed wheelworks (as in Shermans and early Panzer tanks).

  • I'm going to go put my suit on, and build something.

  • You are like 13 years old and you own a suit? I didn't get my first one til I was 24. Times have changed.

  • I am not 13 for christ sake! I am just a very imature person to be honest. I wish people would stop replying to my comments here.

By the way, I owned my first suit when I was about 7 or 8.

  • i had a suit when i was 4, ffs, but i only wore it on christmas, every other day it was flanel button up shirt.

  • Hahahaha for some reason thats funny.

  • @bttfspencer LOL, I was thinking almost the same thing!

  • its like ive said before , if we modellers can get a good woman who understands the anti social hobby of modelling, that is working for hours on it. then keep her !

  • That'd take alot of National wide brainwashing, but only on the cooking, and Home improvement channels. so guys are ok.

  • Would he have clear coated his model before putting on all those washes?

  • He might have dullcote'd it or maybe he did not clear coat it? It is definitely a flat finish when he applies the wash. You can tell by the way the wash was drawn like a sponge onto the flat paint. If he had gloss coated it, the sponge effect would not have occured.

  • Note how this japanese go for German quality too..his airbrush is GERMAN! :-)

  • well the 2 different cultures have different approaches and perhaps similar ones

  • Blocking the airbrush with the fingers and blowing air with the airbrush cup full of paint is not advisable as the paint may flow alongside the needle to the back of the airbrush making more difficult to clean it. Paint should be mixed properly before puting it in the airbrush cup. Blocking the airbrush nozzle with the fingers may be done when cleaning it, once the cup has been cleaned and with some clean thinners or airbrush cleaner on it.

  • indeed!, ive got a Iwata Custume Micron C+, the top airbrush and i would never put my finger over it to test for bubbles. The replacement parts for those airbrushes is expensive!

  • Indeed! Good example of the fact that you should always use discretion and not always 'copy' habits like that! So, yeah, 'a bad habit' and not 'a good technique'... 'Not using a mask and/or a proper spraying-booth' is another 'bad habit'! Oh and ofcourse 'smoking' is a really (!!!) bad habit...!!! ;-)

  • This is awesome!

  • Funny bro! LOL

  • isn't this the guy that made the sherman firefly?

  • Yes

  • THANKS, NICE VID.
