love doesn't know gender or color, yet what your heart feels. im 16 years old, and i live girls, and guys. and everyone can say its just my hormones running wild. i just know what i want. A bisexual person can appreciate the beauty of a female and a man.
I really appreciate the love form everybody! (The ones who agree &nd disagree BUT the point of the poem is about America and its morals.....(or the lack thereof) There's far more important things to be addressed in America besides fighting to keep two ppl from marrying one another......and the fact that there's even a LAW based on the "biblical definition" of marriage defies all of the American principal "Seperation of Church & State" ITS A BUNCH OF BULL CRAP! Thats all im saying in the poem! :)
@MsArdenDante in my opinion, the America portrays gays in society is that it is love and not lust. look at all the tv shows that makes being gay normal and all who frown upon it immoral...God is love and one must align with His definition of love. fleshly desires become lusts. i understand you can have emotions but feelings isn't love but mere emotions. not trying to come off as a jerk so sorry if i am! i'm open for discussion :)

Until you have actually held a EMOTIONAL relationship with the same sex, you wouldn't really know more than what you see on tv or in those "experimental" relationships. What makes everyone so sure that straight marriage isn't just LUST. From what I hear in music and see on television, it sure seems like LUST to me.

Separation of Church and State is very much so real. However the line is skewed once people of the church are allowed to vote. When any one votes they take in account what they believe in. And if they believe in a higher power and they live by that doctrine they let that teaching go with them to the voting poles. So for supreme separation of Church and State they must take away the church goers civil liberties and rights.
furthermore @Tr3ndiilov3styrab believes that the union of 2 shouldnt be just limited to opposite sexes. to make my point clear I would be hard-pressed to believe that she would go into a voting pole and vote against gay marriage because she has took into account what she believes and what she sees as right. Voting poles and People opinion go hand in hand.

In the bible homosexuality, lieing and cheating are all equal sins. However, letting homosexuals marry in the church says that the church accepts something that they teach to be a sin. That is hypocritical. The church teaches that sin is the separation between us and our God so why should we embrace it?
