  • I havent seen this since i was like 5!! The ghost part would scare the living crap out of me lol

  • "wish upon a star" always makes me cry

  • Haha, today i began to sing a song from this video and heard for the first time in my life my mom and dad hated this video after it was played so many times. Well i still love it!!

  • Now the thing that scares me is the pink hippo in the ballet tutu....

  • *nightmare

  • I once had a hit mare when i was little that our grandfather clock turned into one of the tree ghosts lol. Now that I'm older it just seems silly.

  • It's amazing to see this video again. I haven't seen it since I was a kid and it still brings tears to my eyes. This was my favorite Disney movie growing up.

  • The Haunted Mansion segment used to scare me, now it's my favorite part of this video, plus the Haunted Mansion itself became my favorite attraction.

  • I just realized inside that castle is a time machine!! For all the movie characters in the years of film. You can tell inside how it moves!!

  • I had this on VHS when I was little and made my nan put it on for me daily but always closed my eyes and covered my ears for Grim Grinning Ghosts. It used to freak me out!

  • I never discovered Grim Grinning Ghosts is scary. I was not afraid of this at all.

  • I don't know if this is just me but those grim grinning ghost scare the shit out of me when i was younger! Now i see them and i can't believe i was scared of them.

  • This is probably going to be kinda stupid of me to ask. But, at 0:09 when Minnie's hugging that little boy, I can't recognize where that part is filmed. And I grew up with Disneyland! It looks like one of the train stations. But I'm just not sure... Can anyone help me?

  • Grim Grinning Ghosts doesn't scare me anymore... it used to scare the shit out of me as a kid

  • Still freaking scared of the Grim Grinning Ghosts

  • Aren't those trees supposed to be the ones that scared Snow White when she got lost in the forest?

  • used to always skip the scary bit or run out the room!!

  • Did they get Thurl Ravenscroft to sing Grim Grinning Ghosts?

  • You know, the thing that scared me MOST about Grim Grinning Ghosts was DONALD in the ghost costume? The others I thought were cool; Mainly Hook. Seriously, why DON'T they still use that Hook Costume at Disney World. Why did they switch to that grinning one????

  • Those trees still get me. I used to hide in a closet from them.

  • Thank you so much for posting this! OMG #Memories

  • 1:10 Those Trees..........scared me so much

  • this IS my childhood

  • I ALWAYS wondered how King Louie held Goofy on top of his head like that at @0:24

  • thumbs up if you still get butterflys when you see the end of this one!!

  • The only time i was scared in the grimming gost was when the Queen popped up

  • 0:30 The black male kid shrugs when Goofy is stuck in the pot that Louie's holding!

  • i loved grim grinning ghosts. Although i never saw sleeping beauty until i was a little bit older i knew exactly who Maleficent was when she showed up, she was my favorite villain. I always wanted to check that place out to explore it and see if the monsters really did show up at night. Of course, i never got to go :(

  • Grim Grinning ghosts used to a frightfully scene which scared me.

  • I'm 19 and this bring back memories! I hated Grim Grinning Ghosts lol and used to bawl when Mickey and Minnie walked through the castle. <3 Damn, I want my childhood back.

  • 2:25 made me laugh at the kid's reaction. ^-^ reminds me of childhood, oh how i miss it... be back soon <3

  • It's weird because when I was a kid, the ending never made me cry but now I'm 18 and the end always makes me cry :(

  • @PalerLaze, Aww...It's okay...It's a beautiful ending anyway. :) Anyway, we love Disneyland Fun!

  • @PalerLaze I'm not the only one!!! Gets me every time!

  • @PalerLaze The end made me cry as a kid because I was TERRIFIED of fireworks and I didn't have the sense to walk away from the TV. I would just sit there and bawl...now I cry for a different reason haha. This video was my favorite. I'm so happy it's here on youtube.

  • @PalerLaze You're not alone pal, I'll be 18 in 4 days and the ending still makes me cry, it gets worse when I sing along.

  • at 42 seconds that girl is creepy

  • I MISS THE 90S :(

  • OMG... i LOVE THIS!!! the magic of Disney is so powerful!

  • wow.. this was my childhood

  • even when I was little I felt something funny in my chest when the fireworks went off and Mickey and Minnie walked into the castle. Now I know what to call it- hope and love and nostalgia and faith.

  • of course.....

I get the chills and almost start crying at the end....

  • the old lady with the apple use the scare the hell outta me wen i was a kid lol.

  • @Cillababyy408 THE SNOW WHITE WITCH IS CREEPY TO ME TOO!

  • The When you wish upon a star at the end is so sad=(

  • They should just do this elaborate Grim Grinning Ghost dance instead of putting up Nightmare Before Christmas crap up for three months.

  • I do not like when Maleficent says "BOO!"

  • I love seeing Roger Rabbit!!!

  • I would watch this whole darn video just for the Haunted Mansion video (though I enjoyed all of it)

  • i was seriously balling when mickey and minnie walked into the castle

  • When I went to disneyland last week (for the first time) leave was the worst! The parked closed in 30 minutes and I did not want to leave. I watched the castle get smaller and smaller unitl at the last moment couldnt see it anymore. That was the worst part!

  • D': I miss being 6 years old......

  • I LOVE the haunted house part

  • @Capnlexi316 I always freaked out :D Lol

  • geez was i the only kid who loved the haunted mansion part?

  • @hadla NOPE! That was my absolute fave part! :D

  • It was those trees!!!! D: (Sorry for the double comment) Granted I'd probably star in a music sequence like that now a days I can do the scream like perfectly lol!

  • OMG! I started laughing just now because every time the tape got to the part at 0:48 I'd get up and hit the fast forward button that song used to scare me!

  • @Queenofawesome25 YES ME TOO. i was so scared.

  • When i was a kid i always hid behind my mickey mouse pillow while watching the scary part...

Brings back memories. I miss it so so much.

  • I am so happy because for the very first time in 4 days from now in my life I am going to Disneyland. I have watched this movie since I was very little and now I am 16 and my dream has come true to go here!

  • AND WHAT THE FUCK IS THE SNOW WITHE WITCH DOING THERE anyway well love these songs.

  • oh hi childhood

  • Man I remember this scared the HELL outa me when I was really litle. rofl now I can see this isn't all scary

  • ghost part is the BEST!!!!!

  • i was always afraid of the witch from snow white when i was young, if u tryed to make me go on the ride i would cry lol i love Disneyland it brings back so many childhood memories, when i go there i feel like a little kid again. i was suppose to go to Disneyland today but we didn't end up going, on the bright side i live 30 mins away so i can go anytime.

  • @WickedLady2010 OMG . YES! she is SOOOO CREEPY! I'm still scared of her and im 15 years old! but only when she is dressed as the old hag, because when she is a queen she is beautiful

  • oh my god. the griming ghosts used to make me cry.

  • Just curious. Why does the "bouncing ball" appear on only a few of the music video's and not the others?

  • The Disneyland Parade song is one of my favorite Disney songs.

  • grim grinning ghosts did not scare me

  • i wish upon a star taht i can one day go to disneyland and walt disney world before i turn 20

  • I love Disney!

  • Ah jeez, I use to love watching all these disney sing along songs (even though grim grinning ghosts gave me nightmares). I'm glad I was born in the 90s.

  • I totally used to run away when Grim Grinning Ghosts came on. It used to scare me so bad lol

  • @chibiusa1992 captain hook used to freak me out in that video

  • and how come they don't have parades like that anymore? hahah.

  • I always used to be Scared of Grim Grinning Ghosts, i kept hearing it in my head when i was riding the Haunted Mansion at DisneyWorld. I was like, where do I remember this from? THIS. makes me cry. time has flown by so much.

  • it's amazing how everyones writing exactly the same things about crying when whish upon a star comes on, i used to cry every time :') up till about three months ago I still had a VCR player in my room just for old times sake and I've only just put this video away, I still remember watching it when I was tiny, the grim grinning ghosts used to scare me so much! this really brings back good memories :')

  • Is it just me or does the guy at 0:34 look like he gets pissed? He looks like he goes 'Stop!'

  • @NATTearmann haha, i saw that!

  • Disney land will always make our dreams come true :D

  • i used to fast forward "grim grinning ghosts" because it was too scary

  • i loved this when i was little. But Grim Grimming ghost scared me so bad. You dont know how hard it was to convince me that Donald was wearing a sheet just so i wouldnt believe it was a real ghost. hahahaha And now i love haunting stuff. Thank you disney for introducing me to my fears hahaha

  • I'm 21, just got back from a vacation to Disney World with my family, and I still can't get over how much Disney (this movie especially) was apart of my childhood. One day I hope to show this to my children instead of the new crap that's out there.

I also use to cry every time "Wish Upon A Star" came on. My mom had to rewind it every time (bet she wanted to kill me :)

  • always been a favorite of mine!! who could ever NOT love disney?

  • Grim Grinning Ghosts always scared me when I was little, but I never ran away or covered my eyes because I was fascinated with it. Haha. And Every time I hear When You Wish Upon A Star, I still cry. My mom used to sing me to sleep with that one and I'm 16 now so it brings back memories :)

  • Though the Land was the original, I am still miffed, because in the Paris version, the characters TALK more. Furthermore, in Following the Leader, Peter Pan actually leads the kids as opposed to explorer Donald.

  • An admendment...

Also on Grim Grinning Ghosts, Phantom Manor actually had The Phantom AND Melanie Ravenswood (the bride) appear!

  • I just love the part when Mickey lets the magic flow out out his fingers.. haha such a magical moment :) and the best way to end the movie :D

  • Disneyland is the happiest place on earth its better than six flags, disney world and anyother theme park no matter what you say this video is a reminder of that

  • When You Wish Upon A Star has always made my cry, expecially now. My dance studio is going to Disney World and they're dancing there, but I can't go because 1) I'm afraid to fly, and 2) My parents "can't afford to drive". I'm broken up about it.

  • When You Wish Upon A Star always made me sad. :[ I hate having to leave Disneyland.

  • @cartoonkid96 Yeah, but realy, to me this is a huge matter.

  • 5:05 I shed a tear as a five year old, I burst into tears as a 21 year old.

  • @RockMyWorld37 I'm also 21 years old and feel the same way.I miss going to Disneyland so much.Yes I went there twice when I went to visit my grandparents at Laguna but driving from Laguna to Anaheim was too faraway and it was tiring for aunt and my parents so after that we didn't go back.I felt bad not being able to visit there whenever I took trips to LA to see visit my gramps. :(
