  • the Item at 7.02 is on the bottom of Australian army ww2 boots they were tread for rainforest mud difficult terrain

  • Hi NQ! Great video and a fantastic site that you and Mrs NQ hit upon. The WW2 relics are always exciting and the coins as well! Hope you find some silver on your next outing there. Mrs. NQ is becoming quite good at finding the coins as well! GL and HH!!

  • @MrTerritorian1

Thanks for watching Mr T, keeping an eye on the grass and then we will be back into it - Mrs NQ gets all the good stuff LOL. HH mate.

  • From the land of the Bluenose.....see you upgraded to the Pro but still a Garrett bouy. Good vid and cracks me up me son to see ground with no snow this time of the year. Keep th vids a coming to entertain us folks on the tundra. My pro getting serviced atthe moment.

  • @Bluenoser1954

Thanks for watching Bluenoser, love the ATPro, will keep up the hunts for your entertainiment during your frozen tundra weather LOL. HH!

  • Your videos are always interesting!!!!!! Thanks for taking us along, HH coop

  • @sscindercoop

Thanks for watching Coop, sorry for the delayed response LOL. GL and HH mate!

  • Another spot on video NQ. Great finds again! Love listening to the AT Pro doing it's thing. I wish I could listen to mine but the grounds frozen and the snow has finally arrived. You should tell Mrs. NQ that a clean detector is bad luck and you were just trying to help her out. ;) Keep it up mate! HH

  • Nice video and finds Mate, The shoulder badge you dug is a sweet relic, I read it represents overseas service. Congrats to Mrs. NQ on the complete buckle and the kangaroo pennies, I love seeing them. GL and HH to you and the Mrs.

  • Great quality video. Thanks for posting.

  • @Ginandor

Thanks for watching and commenting Ginandor, much appreciated. GL and HH!

  • Well, following your use of Colleen's AT Pro I hope you cleaned it with a spot of spit and polish, as they say. Congratulations on all the super finds you've both located and retrieved on your joint hunt, which is another of your most enjoyable video records. When you get to do the other section after the grass has been cut, I expect you'll find lots of cools things again as it seems like an ideal location to search. GL & HH :D

  • @fluoridekid

Thanks for watching Rich, I have received a life-time ban on the ATPro LOL, so will need to buy my own, or else, sneak it out and as you suggest give it a good clean before returning it LOL. All my own fault! GL and HH mate.

  • great vid, love live digs

  • @ArcturanMegadonkey

Thanks for your comments Arcturan, glad you liked the live digs, I always enjoy watching them and seeing what the target is 'live' LOL. GL and HH mate!

  • another great video from you, good hunt and finds for you and Mrs NQ, cool finds those shoulder flashes .. thanks for the update on the dog tags .. GL & HH Tina

  • @TinaGsx1400

Thanks Tina, appreciate your comments, now get those woollen gloves on again and get out there LOL. GL and HH.

  • Wow beautiful scenery and a awesome video. One of the greatest things about finding nothing but old targets is you know something good will be there. Congrats on the "magic stuff"! Excellent coins too. GL and HH

  • @Wavesu6410

Thanks for watching Waves, much appreciated mate, keep at those old Florida parks - look forward to your next outing there. GL and HH!

  • Hi Warren, when I found a few I too was stumped. I had a vague idea what they were for but when I was talking to an old digger from WWII I asked him and he confirmed to me thats what they were for. They would interweave with each other and be tacked on. They would have been noisy on concete or gravel. Can't wait for your next video Mate. Cheers, Pete

  • NQE,

Crikey the grass grows quickly up there mate, almost lost Mrs NQE. Great set of WWII finds.

  • @GemQ1

The grass is out of control GemQ, as soon is it is cut, it's like it hasn't even been cut LOL. High humidity and storms/showers every night. At least in winter the grass stays under control. But we are always watching what the mowers are doing on the sites so we can move in quick before it's back to how it was before LOL. GL and HH mate.

  • Good stuff man. I like to see that your Misses likes to detect too. I've only been able to get my little lady to come detecting with me a couple of times. She says all she knows how to find are pull tabs and nails! Haha Nice guys! Boy your scenery is a lot different then ours right now. We just got 7 inches of snow! Not much detecting gonna be happening here for a while. So I'll have to get my fix through you my friend!

Congrats on the goodies!! : )

    GL & HH

  • @TheIlldigger

Always look forward to your comments Illdigger, 7 inches of snow - wow, just can't imagine that LOL, here its 30 degrees C and 90% humidity, so the airconditioning is getting a work out at the moment - Mrs NQ loves going detecting - and always seems to come up with the better finds! But hunting in these conditions is pretty tough - you need lots of water, and lots of breaks! GL and HH mate.

  • Good video NQ. It's always interesting to learn from your videos about military terminology, such as the "shoulder flash". Last thing I would have thought of. It was good to see the AT Pro at work.

  • @robsue

Thanks for commenting RobSue, the ATPro is a ripper, love the GTI2500 too but the ATPro is a whole new beast! HH mate!

  • Nice hunts! I love my AT-Pro, it's hot on tiny buttons, silver and coins. GL & HH to you both!

  • Nice thing about the AT-Pro, you can wash it under the shower.

  • @TheGeorgiaCanuck

LOL, the ATPro is great for all sorts of reasons, you can keep hunting in the rain too! Just have to remember to clean it next time LOL. GL and HH.

  • Great hunt & coins / relics found.. Congratulations.

  • @AmericanCoinHunting

Thanks Dave, always appreciate your comments mate! Best of luck on your next hunt in the woods! GL and HH.

  • Always a trill watching your guys videos :) HH!

  • @MichaelSwan66

Thanks for watching Michael, always appreciate your comments mate. GL and HH!

  • Great stuff as always NQ thanks for the update on the ID tag. I am a Perth boy myself and know of the 16th Battalion so watching with interest! Cheers mate

  • @ExiledOzi

Thanks Exiled Ozi, the 2/16th Battalion is continuing enquiries on our behalf - they have been most helpful and great to deal with. Will keep you updated on any developments! We spent 8 years in Perth with the RAAF, so know it very well! GL and HH.

  • @NQExplorers Ha you weren't at Pearce in the 80's were you?? Half my family are/were in the RAAF, small world mate. :)

  • @ExiledOzi

Exiled, love that about Aussies - we all know each other LOL. We were at Pearce 78-81 and 86-88, bought our first old metal detector from a hire shop in Midland in 1980 and headed out to Kalgoorlie for our first trip! Haven't been to Perth for years - probably unrecognizable now! HH mate.

  • Great video and nice finds. Mrs NQ is good at finding coins she beats you. Nice with little competition ;) GL & HH

  • @MrVollenberg

Thanks for watching Ole, Mrs NQ always outdoes me on the finds, but we put them all together at the end so that's all good! LOL. Can't wait for your spring time hunts and more great history from Denmark! GL and HH.

  • Hey awesome finds you Two NQExplorers! I forgot what green grass looks like! It is beautiful there in your Grizzly backyard! Hey I wonder if you heated up that Australian military badge that was rolled up, and see if you could not get it to straighten out and lay right? I have never tried that yet, but after breaking an old knife I had retrieved by cold bending it, I was pondering that heating it up may have done the trick. Don't quote me, I just have the same challenges here.

  • @GrizzlyGroundswell

Thanks for watching Chad, that heating idea is something I hadn't thought of, definitely a cold bend would break the thing. Someone went to a lot of trouble to get it rolled up like that LOL. HH mate - look forward to February Temerity Magazine!

  • @NQExplorers I was faced with the same problem and don't know if it will work, but should! Hey Temerity Magazine is looking Awesome! I have to talk to you about your Sapphire dig! Too damn cool!

  • That grass sure is getting some height to it. Some brilliant finds from you both, thanks for the vid looking forward to the next!

    Dogahag...........

  • @dogahog

The grass is out of control at this time of year, you can almost see it growing LOL. Thanks for watching mate and HH!

  • Hey Warren, great video, mate, and what a nice hunt. Good luck and HH for the rest of the year, Ian.

  • @Janhyooz

Thanks Ian, appreciate your comments as always, hope to see you out again soon. Best of luck mate, HH!

  • Nice finds congrats and HH

  • @MrJohnson448

Thanks for watching Mr J, appreciate your comments. GL and HH!

  • Nice to see Ms. NQ back. Shame on you for not cleaning her AT Pro after you used it. LOL GL and HH

  • @farenheit1100

Thanks for watching Hugh, only today I have been totally banned from the use of the ATPro due to ongoing offences LOL. Never mind - I really enjoy the GTI2500 that I have used for years - so back to the slightly older technology! GL and HH!

  • @NQExplorers I really hope they take the best of the AT-Pro/AT-Gold machines and combine it with the best features of the 2500 and come out with a monster machine. I'd call it the AT Platinum!

  • "Great job..N.Q.E.....Just love your videos..Looks like summer is in full affect there,!!,,& what great finds..all the best my friend!!...HH..R.D.D.

  • @REDDIRTDIGGER

Thanks RDD, yep its high summer here, the 'wet season' isn't far off - just hope there are no cyclones this year! GL and HH mate.

  • 'Great job..N.Q.E.....

  • Nice video and nice finds man! I prefer your ww2 relic videos, but that's because I'm into ww2 myself. I actually uploaded another video today. You can watch if you like. HH!

  • @JohnAbruzzi6

Thanks for watching John, off to watch your latest hunt now mate. GL and HH!

  • look forward to your videos,,you give us a great tour of your amazing country,,big thumbs up

  • @SuperJammygit

Thanks for commenting SJG, just watched your Iron Age coin video so you've inspired me to go out and find a coin that is pre-George V! LOL. Well done on your latest mate. GL and HH.

  • yet another brilliant hunt man thanks for taking us along!! :)

  • @madsonicboating

Thanks for your great comments, hope to see one of your outings soon! GL and HH!

  • Lovely Hunt Warren! Great Job on the Australian Shoulder 'Flashes'. Although I have no idea how you can possibly wear thick gardening gloves in 30 Degree Heat! HH Buddy!

  • @CoinageBritannia

Thanks CB, the gloves are a one-off, because that red soil makes such a mess - but I'm going back to bare hands, not real keen on the gloves - and as you point out - far too hot! HH mate and keep posting your great productions!

  • Great video my friend - You are doing really good work with documenting the history of Australian and U.S. forces that operated in your area and my hat is off to you. I hope you find that soldier's family that you are looking for and are able to return that property. Keep the videos coming - can't wait to see the next one after they cut that grass!

  • @MercGhostrider

Thanks for you support MGR, much appreciated, and thoroughly enjoy your outings in sunny California! Keep posting mate and showing us around in the Mustang! GL and HH.

  • Hi Warren, The peice you found is off a boot as in hob nailed boots. I've found a few as well. It would give the soldiers grip when climbing. Another great video Mate. I think your going to have to buy a AT Pro Mate. All the best Mate, Pete

  • @ozziepete55

Thanks for watching Pete, I expected you would have the answer to this mystery - had us totally stumped, but makes a lot of sense - would not have liked to climb the Kokoda Track in just leather soled army boots LOL. HH mate!

  • Does Mrs. NQ know you have once again absconded the AT Pro ? LOL

  • @archeodigger

LOL Doug, just today she warned me off using her detector - so it's back to the GTI2500, which is a great machine anyway, HH mate.

  • Awesome video ! Congrats on all your finds and good luck on your next hunt ! Where the American coins at ?

  • @Yulelah

Thanks for watching Yulelah, those US coins and relics have to be there somewhere, will keep going back - hope to show you some soon! HH mate.

  • Awesome! great job! I really like these videos.

  • @TONYXBOX360GEEK

Thanks for watching Tony, appreciate your comments mate. GL and HH!
