Nice video dude! I'm looking to get a similar set-up, only in an 06 Civic Si. I want to do 8000K low-beam and 3000K fog light. Since my car is a bit lower than your truck, will I have to worry about the lights being mis-aimed? I noticed yours are aimed a little high, but I'm concerned that CHP will get in my ass about the aim. Is it even possible to aim HIDs? Your input would be greatly appreciated.
@TSHBuddahead My lights just look like that cuz the angle I recorded from and the fog but you could either aim your headlight housing or aim adjust your bulb from what I see from my more experienced DIY friends. I don't think you really need to worry with CHP if you aren't doing anything burnt like other dumb drivers. Usually if you give a reason cops will just mark you down for eveything depending on your attitude or the time of the month.

@iTzReAcTiiOnZ DDM Tuning. A local shop from my place. They are pretty good quality and have a lifetime warranty (they will test your ballast before replacement to make sure there's no bs) and the lighting is really nice and they don't burn out. Only had to replace one of my ballast for like almost 2 years
all your arguments are invalid. I hate people like you that put in illegal " plug and play" HID kits into their cars. You are also in a truck you don't have the lights aimed right so they go straight into the on coming traffics eyes and blind those drivers. Also the color temp you chose for your lights is to high so it is actually putting out less light than the stock halogens. Just an FYI " blue HID with yellow 3k fogs is JDM style so yes your truck is rice." Do it right or don't do it.
@crzywhiteman01 That's your opinion. You don't know where I use or when I use this truck. These lights serve for 2 purposes. To see better where I go & for those dumb CA drivers. I'd rather keep them stock than stick in those corny aftermarket projectors they make for my model. It's either 1G for those or 3G+ to get them made my way where I live and I ain't down to buy online. I don't have problems with cops around here and my lights don't look like this at night. Its the fog ok

Yea I hear you on that, especially in that thick fog you can really appreciate the light output of hids. I have some on my Chevy truck in the headlights and in my off-road lights behind the grill. I get alot if shit from people saying its too "ricer" to be on a truck, but fuck that, when I'm out in the desert or just offroading somewhere at night, I can see 100xbetter than bunk stock halogen lights. @mrqb1987 Yea when I first installed them like the first month ppl would high beam me to signal that im like on my high beam in which I'm not... I got flashed once at a cop at a stoplight intersection but thats about it and im like the only truck out here with this set up for my truck model... But I would believe if it serves its purpose nothing should happen to you and you could turn them off whenever you want anyways

I got flashed once at a cop at a stoplight intersection but thats about it and im like the only truck out here with this set up for my truck model...
