wow, that sounds like one unbroken gradient all the way to 2:40. incredible, i think i'll just emigrate now and bring my SAR 4-8-2 with me. Looks like 3.5" gauge included on the elevated track too eh.

It is actually 5" gauge. That track has 2.5", 3.5" and 5" gauge on it. There is also a 5" gauge ground level track.
