@AskWhy09 and oozzy09 still glad to see the love for the Boom still exists. if you think i was being critical of Doc then sorry if you took it that way. i could be really critical of his past years, but i agree, this is not the forum for it. it was just a statement based on things i have noticed. if i thought he would take in consideration anything i had to say i would make the trip to have that discussion. in 20 yrs or so you may feel the same way i do now. all im saying is, tradition rules.
@hammer18 Every performance is not going to be perfect. The main reason why you feel we lacked energy is because of the weather. A lot of us were already sick this game was really getting us. Doc has not only been trying to focus on the music but the marching and decorum as well. i am a BOOM critic cuz im a crab of '88 in this band. its a good show but lacks energy. Doc tries to do everything with music. music is not the only thing that makes a band great. there is something to be said for showmanship. thats why its called a "SHOW" band. if or when he ever learns this, then and only then will he become the legend he wants to be. at the same time the BOOM will be back on top as they should be with all the respect we deserve for being a complete band like we used to be.
@hammerl8 Its amazing that the members from the 80's have such a problem with keepin their criticisms in house....Even if you are right this is not the place for a former member of the boom to express this....the band hall is always open and so is Doc's door..... Luh Da Boom S.O.P. 08
