I think this version of Anna Karenina is the best though I haven't seen them all and shouldn't say this but this captured my imagination. Everything the romance Sean Bean, Russia, the Waltzes, decadent ballroom everything : ) Zdrastvuy! I appreciate also the Russian writers esp Chekhov
I have to say that Lux Aeterna has become much overused on YouTube, especially for fan-made trailers. But I will share something I did like about your editing. In that moment at the ball that Anna and Vronsky first "make eyes" at one another, you showed her in front of the train tracks just before she dies. The moment it all started, and how it ended. Good job.
everyone needs to stop using requiem for a dream. It's a great song yes. but it wasn't created for idiots to use as a crutch for "added artsiness" to terrible videos.
Having just read the book, I think the main story revolves around Anna's external struggles AND Levin's internal confusions. Both are of equal importance to the story. I even give an edge to Levin as the real protagonist of the story more than Anna.
@Archivist777 It's hard to find on youtube, because youtube users are teenagers( most of them) and they don't upload Anna Karenina, but this is a worldwide masterpiece and there are lots of versions, in any language, try on google, maybe
The book is pure epicness ... who didnt read it missed alot :( . Leo is an awesome author that he made such a perfect book and character like Anna ... Im speechless
@aceflameseer I really want to give either War/Peace or Anna Karenina a go, but the size intimidates me. Is it a difficult read? or is it fairly quick and easy to comprehend?
@StrangerToEarth I agree with you man, Sean Bean is one hell of a actor:D Peter Jackson choose him to play Boromir in Lord of the Rings, so he got to be a profi actor
@UnceBobTouchedMe I know right, that's where I first saw him! Everyone else preferred the soft, light fairy Orlando Bloom and I thought Sean Bean was awesome on so many levels, he was the only character I liked.
@UnceBobTouchedMe I love Sean Bean since I saw him 16 years ago (I was just 10) playing Sharp. I was so amazed by him that I was watching the movie on the Russian TV regardless I couldn't understand a word. Since than I just admire him as my favorite actor as he played so many different characters and each time they are so true and real and you can't never see his true face coz he never plays different roles in the same way. And of course he is incredibly handsome! :)))

Anna Karenina is one of my most favourite books. A wonderful novel. I've read it amny times and every time I enjoy it.
And of course Anna's life, tragical, I can't help crying when reading the last moments of her life

Why is this version of Anna Karenina so difficult to find?
Archivist777 11 months ago 9
@Archivist777 This is just a fan-made trailer xD Most of the clips I used are from the Anna Karenina film with Sophie Marceaux and Sean Bean.
