the whole story about being hit indirectally is why i WON'T buy a non-gell pepper spray. If what you said is true then when you deploy it on an attacker he AND YOU are affected so that rules out using it inside and you must be up/no wind of your attacker outside or it's gunna blow right into your face after it hits him, so pepper SPRAY can only be used 1/4 of the time when you think about it...... COLD STEEL INFERNO ALL THE WAY!!!!!! and that's my 2 cents
