Talent do not have anything to do with generations and age.

As much as I do love Stephen King, I would not say he should win a Nobel Prize, instead of, for example, Doris Lessing. We all know the difference.

(By the way, when Elfriede Jelinek won - her well deserved - Nobel Prize, she said that in her opinion Peter Handke was just as worth for it like herself. If you see what I mean.)

If Meryl could win half as many times as she was nominated, it would be more than enough to make her the most appreciated actress.

True that she is still in a better position than Sigourney Weaver (who is absolutely disregarded just because she's not a teenager and not a typical Hollywood starlet).
