I was told not to lose weight during my 6 month medically supervised diet becasue if i showed that i was able to lose 10% of my body weight on my own I would be denied but Im wondering if after youve been approved you can lose weight. Can they take your approval back? Ive heard that the more weight you lose pre op the better youll do afterwards but if i get approved and then work out and change my eating habits and lose 20 lbs will my insurance take back my approval? let me know if you know! lol
Activities... Pre Guitar and recording an album for sure. One of my band's tunes is used in my videos.
Activities Post: Camping with my boyscout sons would be nice. Amusement Park Rides, yep miss the shit outta them. Dancing with the wife would be fun too, but I actually plan to live "on stage". See Leona Lewis "Run" video X-Factor (Snow Patrol remake). Yep, I want to put the band right out in front of a choir like that...
Pre-op...I spent years in color guard..I was in an extremely competitive world class winter guard..I was really talented and love preforming but I always felt like I never looked as good as everyone else becasue I was fat. I couldn't get as high off the ground in leaps, My uniform didn't look as good..everything. Doing what i loved the most i felt completely uncomfortable.. I would LOVE to get back into it post op and feel comfortable and beautiful doing it.
Hey there! Most surgeons require their patients to lose a little weight before surgery anyhow. Some do it just to get you in the mind frame of eating healthier, but most require it to shrink the liver which will make it safer for surgery. I don't really have a favorite body part but if I had to pick one, I would say my face. And things do start sagging after rapid weight loss so that sucks. I used to hike a lot years ago and would love to again once I get closer to goal.
also, i love my butt! i do.. as a big girl I LOVVVE MY BOOOTTTY lol and something I love doing now is road trips and something iwanna learn is swing dancing when im down to 170/180.. i totally do.

I love my calves too but they looked good when I was thin. I want too buy a new Harley and start ridding again. Once I'm skinny I want to shop at normal stores instead of casual male XL and spend the day at Great adventure with my daughter!
@joeverc I have my outfit already picked out for when I can just go to a store and shelf shop! Pair of Diesel Jeans and Armani Exchange T .... FITTED! ;o)

the journey is all about changes...and the more that you can get at handle on before surgery, the better for you..
what that nurse did...not cool... but if it helped you get an attitude to get it done... well then that's good.
