  • @trilegarde1954 Be careful with too much protein for a long period of time, it can become toxic to your body

  • people who eat raw food very often go grey waaaay later then unhealthy diets

  • He looks like he is 80, and doesn't look like he is strong either, maybe he has enough muscles to sit on the bed. I think, any extreme is extreme, and not good for everyday

  • Hello, I' m from Spain, Gabriel is amazing, congratulations!,

PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE. I need help!. How I can learn to eat raw vegan food in the correct way?, Have Gabriel any good book for this?.

I' m vegan, I' m 21 years old (almosT 22), and I'm 1,79 cm, and my weigh is 54 Kg, is that good?. Since I'm vegan, I've lost 6 kg. This week I begin strength training, cardio is also important for the GOOD HEALTH?.

I WOULD LIKE VERY MUCH TO KNOW WHAT IS THE EXACT DIET THAT. GABRIEL DOES...

  • He is a bit of a nut bar!

  • Look at the wall outlet hahahahahahahahahah

  • Basing your opinion on Gabriel by his appearance in this low quality video is silly and uneducated.

Gabriel is an extremely athletic and fit individual. He performed over 600 pushups on his 60th birthday and engages in a yoga, strength training and cardio almost daily.

If someone has a thin body type and is not some bodybuilder does not mean the diet they're eating is "wrong". The strongest people on the planet (rock climbers and gymnasts) don't look much different than the average person.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity He is over 60 years? OMG!!! That is amazing!

  • @brahmamurti he is alost 70

  • he's also approaching his mid 60s - reckon he looks that old?

  • That's an Israeli outlet. Some Europeans have the same kind.

  • I think he says: "because it was raw..." Is he or not? I'm puzzled.

  • He actually says: "because it WASN'T raw..."

Hope that makes it less puzzling.

  • Thank you, lovermouse for your help, and you are right; he says: "because it WASN'T raw" :)

  • Hello, is he saying that raw tahini raises your blood sugar? So, raw isn't alwyas best for everyone, so I have noticed. But why promote the raw food diet for years and years, how wrinkle free you'll get and how strong you'll get and then sort of take it back? yes, you must study what foods/diets do to you. Don't take their word for it like many of us has been doing for years. Old truths 'comes new truths, or what's going on here? I have gladly left the raw food movement. Scary.

  • No, our experience at the Tree of Life Israel was that raw tahini was good to lower the bloodsugar. The cooked tahini raised the bloodsugar. So raw was indeed much better.

  • @Mother4earth because raw food cures diseases, and keep you fit and will change your life for the better, some people are allergic to peanut's so those people who are allergic to peanut's should not eat them its common sense. people must pay attention to how certain foods effect them that's why one of his books are titles "conscious eating"

  • titled*

  • @Mother4earth he said raw tahini is good. Cooked raised blood sugars

  • So what if we can't find veganism amongst the other extant peoples. We've all gone astray & R freaks in the natural world. We're the only species who cooks food. Yes, we're "naked apes" & hemmed within borders that keep us from the north south migrations of other mammals. Yet I believe the length of our intestines put us in herbivorous territory. Then our diets have been so atrocious that a good long stint of eating raw, sproutin & fermentin, hydratin etc, at the very least, is what's called 4.

  • Well since there are no "vegans" in the world it would be hard to document that. There neds to be multigeneratioanal studies and as far as I know, the only people who call thenselves "vegans" have only been doing it for a few years.

  • please explain, what do you mean by "good example of a vegan" ? you may ask me questions if you wish, I have been vegan for over 4 years and my son is also vegan since birth, he is 4 years old. And are the negative comments about Gabriel Cousens about his looks? or what exactly is it you find wrong with him?

  • I dont think he's preaching "BE LIKE ME". I think what he is saying is, "I'VE BEEN THERE, I HAVE LEARNED, I'M HERE TO SHARE".

Yes, he needs to do something with his hair ( I suggest shaving it balled. It would make him look more commanding)

Yes he is sort of like a new aged hippie.

This man very well could be in his 60s and had a lifetime full of damaging his body and trying to get out the message of changing your life instead of going to hell and back.

Im new but we should stop juding on looks

  • Well, thats what I mean. He says this, you say that. Instead of us all saying... "Well you look this way, so your information is wrong", Why don't we just contribute, share, check our facts, inform, delight, be intimate and grow with each other instead of tearing each other down.

For instance. I know a lot about muscle development. I will say when I don't know something. But when I talk to these muscle heads who are so-called personal trailers I hear a LOT of wrong advice. BUT (1 of 2)

  • Share information? Well if the ultimate goal of "vegans" was health, then that would be fine. But just as the ultimate goal of a anorexic is to lose weight no matter what, the ultimate goal of the "vegan is to avoid animal protein no matter what. So that would cause a problem with any serious discourse.

  • 2 of 2) they must be right because WHY? ...THEY HAVE MUSCLES. So, this must mean anything that I have to say about muscle growth must be invalid.

OR if you listen to an old woman say.. MOISTURIZE YOUR SKIN OR IT WILL GET UGLY. If this woman has the face of Golda Meir and Mother Teresa, Well, Im going to listen right after I asked them if they did that all f their lives. If they say NO, Ill listen, if they hand me something and said, THIS IS WHAT I USED. Id toss it in the can.

  • Again, you're getting the terms "musculature" and "skinny" confused with healthy and un-healthy. I look at a persons eyes, teeth, body proprotions, skin, etc., in order to tell how healthy a person is. I don't see good things with most people doing a high carb/low protein diet for long periods of time.

  • ok, lets mark this guy up to be a bad example. But there is no reason to go kamikaze on him.

I mean, we listen to celebs say DONT DO DRUGS after they have consumed every drug on the planet.

AS FOR VEGAN... it is not just animal protein. It is ANY PRODUCT that used an animal or an animal bi-product.

For instance Jelly beans are made from animal bone from an already dead animal. This is vegan if you don't eat it. same with plastics because of the dianasour oil and so is not using leather belts

  • I have yet to see a good example of a "vegan" that's been doing it for more than a few months and is over 19.

  • I've seen a video of a girl who's 18 or 19 and she's been a vegan for all her life. They interviewed her on TV.

  • I'm not saying that people can't be a "vegan" aka - (have an eating disorder). I'm saying they just won't be healthy.

  • Wow, you sound like an eleven year old. You also most likely have the same knowledge as one on nutrition. Shame.

  • Well all you have to do to win your argument is to name a traditional people, tribe, or nation that have been vegetarians (the way it's defined in the video) for generations, and are healthy. Let me know when you have an anwser.

  • Most of India has been vegetarian for as long as it existed. Why do you think cows are sacred there? ...

  • "Most of India has been vegetarian for as long as it existed. Why do you think cows are sacred there?"

Actually that's not true. Cows have always been sacred in all Indo-Europeon cultures but they ate them too. Not eating the cows is a relatively new tradition in India's 5000 year old culture. Old Vedic texts are full of referances to eating beef.

In India, even you you try not to eat meat, you get plenty of bugs in the food, unlike the vegans in the States.

  • [cont] Indians also drink raw-milk, eat cheese, butter and eggs. And even with all that, do you think that Indians look or are a picture of health?

  • jellybelly-uk Question: Do Jelly Belly jelly beans contain Gelatin?

  • thanks for clearing that up james... I never knew.

I love to "eat the meat".
