Philippine networks and stations do not have the technology that we do here in the States. Consequently the singer has to perform even harder, as the voice processing that would help her so much does not exist, or is at best limited. This song is very hard to sing, because it's fast and has many pitch changes. Because of this, it might not have been the best choice for her, but hey, it's a live gig and well, she's still incredible!

@lydiabigio You think so? I', not sure I fully agree. As far as vocal quality goes, I think they were equally good. What made Emily's rendition better was her emotion. I think, this is a pretty good song for Charice...just wish she would have acted it out better in her voice.
There's no doubt that she's an amazing singer. Certainly better than most people who make their living off of singing! But I really don't think this was a good song choice for her voice. If i had only ever heard her sing this I wouldn't understand why everyone was saying such wonderful things about her. It was only ok. However, I DO get goosebumps every time I hear her sing Note to God & others.

@lydiabigio You think so? I', not sure I fully agree. As far as vocal quality goes, I think they were equally good. What made Emily's rendition better was her emotion. I think, this is a pretty good song for Charice...just wish she would have acted it out better in her voice.

There's no doubt that she's an amazing singer. Certainly better than most people who make their living off of singing! But I really don't think this was a good song choice for her voice. If i had only ever heard her sing this I wouldn't understand why everyone was saying such wonderful things about her. It was only ok. However, I DO get goosebumps every time I hear her sing Note to God & others.
