hes not actually doing the math, you are giving him the signs of WHEN to bark, not how many, like was suggested with the fingers, since that would ALSO be counting, which too is math, but thats not the case, you are giving him timings, like high pitch flute equals bark, which the camera cant pick up, or everytime you raise your fist he barks, thumbs up to bring this to the top

that was a great video, murphy handled (1+1) and (2+2) really well , but somehow i feel he doesn't actually do the math, its like shihtzulover1217(lol) could raise 4 fingers behind the cam and murphy barks four times(i could be wrong here).and hey murphy wasn't all that confident with 3*2 and 4*2, it was like he was waiting to be instructed to bark... nevertheless that was a great video, .

Haha thanks but I can promise you that I don't hold any fingers up. I do however believe my body language changes for him to be able to read that some how. He's just a smart dog he can learn any new trick within 10 minutes its amazing. Thanks!

if u ask him how many days are in the week he barks 7 times

he knows what half of 100 divided by 10 is

he knows 10 + 10

Its not really a trick but I do believe it has something to do with my state of mind. Me and him are very close and maybe he can read what I am thinking or feel it. I dont know what it is but I am telling you this is not just a trick he does it by himself. You have every reason to not believe me but I own him so I know its no trick lol

Murphy is a really smart dog, I really did nothing to teach him that. It was all on him. He knows so many tricks and I love to take the time to teach him more. Hes a really great dog to have.
