I used to play Pikachu in SSBM given his Up Smash was one of strongest in the game and his jolt cancel (allowing to run with your Thunder Jolt) was awesome and his speed was decent. Now in SSBB he is a lot weaker and his only good attribute is his Down Smash + Thunder combo so I moved to Pokemon Trainer since Squirtle and Ivysaur have decent smashes and B moves (plus Ivysaur's up smash is one of the strongest though it lacks range compared to Lucas)
lol my first time playing this was at my friend's house and i used sonic and owned him even though he had had the game for 4 months already. sonic rules!

use Ike (believe it or not) for extremely fast targets or very slow ones, Ike is the most overpowered character of all, and use Sonic to outmatch all classes in speed, if Sonic is used right he can go through a 1v3 unscathed, and get atleast 10 K/Os
