  • I think that the new LRRH version is a little of a copy of this one and the tale where it came from; but this one is much better, I mean; Lansburry!! Is amazing!! And the tale is cool- honestly, who was the badass that said the wolves are the villains? Carter is my idol!!!

  • What`s the name of that song?

  • @smurf2427 "Requiem for a dream"

  • this is not music from this film !

  • I just watched this movie and it's cheesy as hell just like : ginger snaps, wolf, american werewolf in london, american werewolf in paris, twatlight, big bad wolf, red riding hood, cursed, never cry werewolf, van helsing, wolf man( 2010) etc etc . Stick with: the howling 1, dog soldiers, silver bullet ,bad moon and the underworld trilogy if you want to see a decent werewolf movie. All the rest are either funny or plain stupid.

  • @1misanthropist i i would put wolf man (2010) and Van Helsing in the good werewolves movie category

  • @1misanthropist all the movies you put in the good, not cheesy or laughable list were meant as a thriller, gory, or otherwise scary movies. The company of wolves was meant to be more symbolic and reference the original undertones of the classic "Red Riding Hood" tale. So I can see how you would put this movie in the not so good list. But taking into consideration the fact it was never meant to be scary in the first place and the subcontext of the movie, I think this movie is quite good

  • @bittersweet2311 I agree with you, but just a little detail: classic story was scary as hell. All the fairy tales were. This one is a manipulated version.

  • I love the song but why are wolves always the bad guys? I personally love wolves.

  • @TeganWolf19 me too! <3

  • @TeganWolf19 Ditto. I love wolves

  • @TeganWolf19

Because if Werewolves aren't badass like their suppose to be we get Fags like Jacob in Twatlight.

  • Isn't this song called Requiem For A Dream, was it always with this film. I thought it was composed for the film' Requiem For A Dream'

  • the music makes you want to howl along... or am I the only one? xp

  • If you like wolves, read Space Wolf by William King

  • I like the music with this ^.^

  • I watched this movie again today for the first time in years. It's both creepier and better than I remembered.

  • Wait....is Micha Bergese here 40...making out with 13 year old Sarah Patterson?

    Uh, pedo?

  • I feel asleep watching this shit. Boring fairy tale with no meaning,or sense at all. Awful, awful, awful and ending is - omg. bunch of wolves coming into girl's house???? I guess this movie is made for 10 year olds.

  • @ogorjefan You fell asleep because maybe you're too daft to see what this film was all about. Did the symbolism elude you? This is all about a girl growing into a woman, having her period and many other symbolic things like her fertility. She has a grandmother who has already "been there" and doesn't want her to grow up and become the "victim" of a man. But in the end, the wolf (man) gets the girl. It was a brilliant piece of work. I dare you to even attempt to acheive this type of art.

  • @AnnaSofiaR Yeah this movie is indeed about feminism, i guess if i was a woman then i would see it differently. I am just too old to take this movie seriously.

  • @ogorjefan Wow! Are you are indeed old.

  • @AnnaSofiaR +99999.

  • Stupid song. I think it should be mandatory to play the scene from Requiem for a Dream alongside all crappy uses of this song...especially for Two Towers trailers!

    Burn, facial, suck it.

  • i love this movie !!!!!! <3 and music is good!!!

  • the transformation scenes were beautfiully done, and incredibly violent. great movie too. =)

  • Be ready Asian women online lushfmlk.info

  • Just been watching National Geographic about the FBI Behavioural Unit linking how Silence of the Lambs came to be from USA's historical serial killers. What's scary is how the werewolf as a man at 2:01 looks like Ted Bundy. Always remembered the joint eyebrows!

  • One of my favorite films. Each werewolf transformation is unique and amazing; no digital effects.

  • Thank you for picking this song! I'd never heard it before & it's so pretty. I can't wait to learn it for piano :)

  • so is this movie worth seing any1? or is it just the song u like?

  • @ChainsmokingPothead : LIttle Red Riding Hood with werewolves, of course it is worth seeing, for the transformation scenes at the very least.

  • @ChainsmokingPothead : LIttle Red Riding Hood with werewolves, of course it is worth seeing, for the transformation scenes at the very least. Hard to find in a region 1 though, but worth the search.

  • Damm, Props for using such original music. Nobody on Youtube has ever used requiem for a dream before. Well done, I just hope that such a great song doesn't become the wannabe win button Hack National Anthem for every Movie video ever :P.

  • why everyone keeps using requiem for a dream's SO for every video?

  • i didnt see the movie but u excited me to see it with this vid

  • all the fanmade trailers have this music lol

  • Oh my gosh! I loved that video! please tell me what the name of that music is! My email address is lindydbaker@yahoo.com

  • @LeAnneJeanCody requiem for a dream

  • this movie was big on visuals and painfully short on story.

  • this songs is from requiem for a dream:

    take a look below

    videocode: SmijKjosplM

  • i love this song, title-- Requiem for a dream

  • @MissHellsHarlot yes it is ^^

  • it's my favorite movie...

Little Red Riding Hood in new style...

  • truly incredible movie

  • this is a masterpiece

  • Ruined it by using 'that' piece of music.......

  • he used the same music in his film 'the end of the affair'!

  • This song is used way too much in everything. That fact makes me roll my eyes just a little bit.

  • @residentofboxfive it's from requiem for a dream in case you didn't know(:

  • cute!

    cool movie

  • I watched it and I like it so much, but anyone can tell me about the music??

  • look up the requiem for a dream soundtrack i think its on there. i know they played it on the lord of the rings EA game trailer and was able to find it somehow but cant remember. i just know Requiem for a dream is what most people call it

  • @warprince23 Look up Clint Mansel

  • Der genialste Werwolf-Film aller Zeiten!!!!Angela Lansbury grandios Rolls!!!!

  • I just watched this tonight and it's eerie how much Sarah Patterson resembles Eliza Dushku!

  • wait humat falls in love with the were wolf?

  • I've always loved the company of wolves. :-)

  • I love this movie, in sort of a way.

I never really understanded the first part of the movie, only after Rosaleen meets the werewolf, the rest of the movie didn't make so much sense to me?

But, I love it anyway :D

    It's art in my eyes.

  • the man was cute with those eyes

  • I saw this well into my teens...and I love it...I'm almost 30 and it's still one of my favorites....

  • yeah me too!!! i always watch when i was 3/4 years!!! i wish to watch it again!!!!!

  • One of my fave films since childhood...yes, I own the DVD and watch it often. I love this song and clip, very beautiful!

  • A great movie if your into weird surrealism

  • probably not my cup of tea so iam biased, this was absolutely boring. we had to watch this in English lit and i was struggling to stay awake

  • Hmm looks interesting I think I'll go see it =]

  • WHATS THE NAME OF THE SONG!?!?!?!?!

  • requiem of a dream

  • I enjoyed this movie, it was very creepy and eerie

  • Lovely imagery, lovely song - but then I prefer roses over...

  • My Dad told me they used this film to torture the people in Gitmo.

There's a reason they only call it a "cult" classic.

  • why they used this and how?

  • this movie sucked balls

  • err where the werewolf?

  • In his MOUTH!!!!

  • i like that movie of neil jordan

  • omg. Poor lux aeterna. Every single movie preview uses it. Its kind of funny because it is originally from a movie about heroin addictions. Watch it, it is amazing

  • lol. so true.

  • ah sì era questo! FINALMENTE ! Bellissimo! Che ricordi

  • Great film pity Sarah Patterson only did one other film after this shes brillant in this

  • This was actually based on Little Red Ridinghood more than Beauty and the Beast

  • when i was young something about this movie that scared me from all others in a wierd kind of way...

  • the "werewolves" dosent even looks like werewolves!!!!

  • It was made in 1985, give them a break.

  • Actually, the original were legends have the creatures looking exactly like their counterparts. A werewolf looks like a regular wolf or human. Nothing between.

  • Lovely images, lovely music. Gorgeous work.

  • That lovely music has got to be the most overused music piece in film ever.

  • It is used, because It is lovely, dramatic piece of music... although the film Requiem for a dream was apparently (not seen it) total garbage. Film is set in modern US but features ECT for people who are conscious. Sensationalism in the name of art, eh?

  • @Nethrys and there is a reason for that.

  • @Nethrys its one of those songs that you feel like you hsve heard a thousand times but just can't remember where. at least I can't remember where, but i'll speak for myself.

  • WHAT IS THAT SONG!! I LÖVE IT!

  • reqium of a dream

  • it's actually "lux aeternam" from the movie "requeim for a dream"

  • that movie is my favorite!!!

  • This is a great film; the whole ambiance of the film is really atmospheric and the effects are pretty good considering this was before mainstream CGI started polluting movies.

  • its like "The Beauty and the Beast" and "Little Red Riding Hood" mixed together. OOOH its looks so good! I want to see it!

  • Stop abusing Lux Aeterna.

  • Totally agreed.

  • I love Angela she just Amazing oh Angela lansbury

  • Why "Beauty and the Beast"?! ôo

There is a girl with a red cape, a grandmother, a hunter and maaaaaany wolfes.

It is and was always a "Little red riding hood" tale for adults.

But still nice trailer, I love the music from "Requiem for a Dream"

  • I remember watching this movie when QueenandBard posted it, but it's been gone since her account was deleted. (I haven't found her new account yet.) It's good!

  • its more red riding hood i feel

  • kinda a mix of BOTH stories

  • For those who liked this flick, try to find "Eyes of Fire". It's not a Werewolf movie, but it shares some of it's poetry.

  • I stopped the clip when I realised it was the Chronos Quartet's Requiem for a Dream soundtrack... yet again.

  • For those who want to know... The music is Requiem for a Dream.

  • I saw this movie when I was 8 and was really scarred of it XD I've been looking for it for a while but I couldn't remember it's name. I'm glad I found this video or else I'd still have no clue. Thanks ;)

  • i have the DVD but i think im too young to watch it.damn!

  • to my memmory there are only 2 violent parts. It's based on traditional fairytales (which are quite sinister) but this is one of my all time favourite cult films. If you have it, watch it. Maybe get an adult to tell you when to turn away.

  • Its really too bad Youtube took the movie off the site. I wanted to watch it again this friday.

  • They took it off?

how did they do that? Can it be found at a Blockbusters or anything? I have never viewed it.

  • It only came back into print a few years ago (believe me I waited for it to come back into print for 2 years). I ordered my copy immediately through Blockbuster as soon as it was available. This is my fave movie of all time.

  • love the soundtrack!!! never heard of the movie i m about to watch it now!!!

  • where did you watch it?? i cant find it. been looking forever.

  • why is this song so familiar...?

  • it's "lux aeternam" from the movie "requiem for a dream" - and it's highly popular as a soundtrack for all kinds of spooky and solemn clips and scenes....

  • Ah, I was really liking the song while watching the trailer and then u reminded me of THAT movie-it completely ruined the track for me, with that ugly memory. I didn't see the whole movie, but the end half and that film makes my mind wanna vomit!

  • Ah, I was really liking the song while watching the trailer and then u reminded me of THAT movie-it completely ruined the track for me, with that ugly memory. I didn't see the whole movie, but the end half and that film makes my mind wanna vomit! I actually blocked the memory from my mind and watching this trailer while listening to the song was like eating chocolate and then sumone telling u ur realy chewing turd-my mind recoiled mid-pleasure!

  • I just found out its a really famous piece made famous from the movie requiem for a dream, and has since been used, sampled and remixed by various other ppl for trailers and films. I just realised today I first heard it as a remix in the film a man on fire-during the rave scene

  • ive never seen that movie, it looks awesome tho

  • I love the movie. the melody by clint mansell fits very well.

  • Thanks. Yeah, it's an interesting melody.

  • This is beautiful :)

  • I'm glad you like it.
